03/11/2011 17:03 | And a decent Buy this pm 50k @89p | hastings
03/11/2011 15:23 | Brent Hudson has brought in quality Directors who would bring plenty of experience in handling acquisitions. As well as the Chairman who joined in April 2010 with historic positions with Microgen and Dell. Look at the FD Neil Elton who joined in August 2010, and was FD at Concateno (Medical Testing company) which was taken over June 2010. As well as organic growth, they mainly grew by making many excellent acquisitions before they were taken over themselves. Strong management has always been an attraction for me with SAG, and what they might do with such a strong balance sheet. ic2... | interceptor2
03/11/2011 13:07 | Good spot interceptor2 and a worthy read. Have to say that i think an acquisition is very much on the cards here, could we even see a tie up with another Cambridge Co, now that would be interesting. | hastings
03/11/2011 12:54 | Just came across an interview with CEO Brent Hudson from 3 weeks ago, well worth a read. See below. | interceptor2
01/11/2011 20:41 | Mmm 0p Greenroom, I will have a truck load then lol | hastings
01/11/2011 14:00 | Yes good article, although I do question this latter sentence "Sagentia looks far from expensive at 0p" Now there are a few things on AIM that would look expensive at 0p but generally I think the above could be said about majority of AIM. I can only assume they meant 'far from expensive at 80p' The cash position makes that P/E look very undemanding IMO | greenroom78
01/11/2011 13:54 | Great article - cheers hastings. Testing the highs today on a day like today - strong. CR | cockneyrebel
01/11/2011 09:17 | with markets tanking all over the joint today, i thought it would be easy to pick up a few more sag this morning...no such luck. | abc125
31/10/2011 18:32 | not been able to get an online quote for days but managed to pick up 5k late in the day when the market was tanking. | abc125
31/10/2011 12:46 | Mkt cap looks very low given the strong cash position and the decent assets, leaving plenty of upside on the business front. | hastings
31/10/2011 11:53 | Bought in at last this am. True; they are very hard to get hold of. | cestnous
31/10/2011 09:59 | Brought back in this morning, very hard to get hold of stock which is a good sign. CR, A few points to add to your excellent analysis on the CR thread. Looking back at the last interims shows an increase of EPS to 4.9p (3.9p) at credible 25% increase. But the full 41,723.595 shares were used for the first time to calculate the basic EPS. The interims the year before, only 25,479m were used and 33,011.266 used for the full year report in between. Shows the potential now to beat forecasts to the full year imo. I also like that they have disclosed the share price performance needed for directors to excercise their recent option awards. 120p for 20 consecutive days between 3 and 7 years. Not all companies disclose this information. Seems fair to me. I did sell out @ 77p last may to buy something else, I should have brought back in in September on the contract award. Quality company imv. ic2... | interceptor2
31/10/2011 08:28 | gone through resistance on that high volume on Friday - a nice new high on big volume will be rather exciting :-) CR | cockneyrebel
28/10/2011 13:40 | Yes Greenroom you are right, they don't have to update. I would have thought the Numis note would have been out by now or very soon. Could well coincide with some news. | hastings
28/10/2011 13:30 | Gone phone only on IG. | bones30
28/10/2011 12:15 | If the Numis note (when it comes) can generate some wider attention for SAG then I would expect to see a bit of a re-rating. Strong cash position Very undemanding P/E for the growth shown Very nice habit of under promising and over delivering. Hastings, there was a pre-close update at the start of November last year so that is why I have suggested we may get another. It is AIM though so as far as I am aware they are not obliged to do so. I do wonder if the Numis note will follow a trading update though, kind of as a double whammy and also to give Numis something current to refer to (in addition to the recent contract wins). | greenroom78
28/10/2011 12:09 | Cheers CR-certainly seems ready to kick on a bit, but happy to wait and see. | hastings
28/10/2011 12:03 | I've noticed these tend to see a bit of volume before news so perhaps a trading update next week hastings - perhaps that volume today is a clue. On the other hand it might just be confidence building in the market. CR | cockneyrebel
28/10/2011 11:37 | Yes CR,tend to agree with you. Just wondering if as others have suggested that an update could be coming through. Also interested to know if Numis has brought out a note yet. | hastings
28/10/2011 10:57 | Good buys and a couple of rather large trades today - might be a seller gone there perhaps. CR | cockneyrebel
27/10/2011 15:24 | Fair enough, appreciate where you are coming from | hastings
27/10/2011 15:20 | No, its paid for content. I don't think they'd like that! Bit unfair on them and other subscribers. Sorry about that. Its v. positive though. Bought a few on the strength of it because I think the author is pretty at picking. | bones30
27/10/2011 15:17 | Any chance of posting it bones | hastings
