Interim results out, still loss making but trading is materially ahead of this time 2016 and they expect to return to profitability. 0.97 cash and NAV of 73p.

Should trade higher over time imv. DYOR etc...

Agreed re Gyllenhammar but not all his investments have historically been great successes - Maybe he has uncovered a small treasure trove here.

Gyllenhammar no one's fool - must be looking to unlock some heavily discounted Nav.
Can see this nearer 70 than 40 in a few months time.Market interest in Scholium nil, which makes his purchase all the more intriguing.

Disappointing update this morning.... Materially below this time last year and small loss. Also not sure of the outlook though £/$ rate is helping. 1mm cash and NAV 74p

Still a hold for me ATM.

Bit of life here it seems with a tick up on this mornings buy. AGM on Friday 9th September but they don't usually issue a statement as there's one mid October. The fall in Sterling can only help with the overseas buyers imv but we will see later on in the year...

Hi mod farm, yes lack of interest here at the minute but hopefully a return to profit and any acquisitions may help. Liquidity also an issue so buying for the longer term seems sensible imv Looks very cheap to me and hopefully over time we will see a decent rise in share price.

Net assets and cash have both fallen since the interim results. I'm in because of the discount to assets but I want to start seeing the book value grow.

No not missing something. Meant cash and assets The Group's balance sheet remains strong, with net assets at the year-end in excess of GBP10 million (73.5p per share), including cash of approximately GBP1.3 million (9.5p per share)
