I forgot to add one scenario that I would like to go with in case we get government approval: we take over the asset, but dont have to pay any money to petronas of the asset price after adjustments due to the effective economic date. Meaning we only pay the outstanding amount over a future timeframe year by year if some indicators like oil price, pipeline status and cash flows are met in that specific years. Taking out all financial risks and any interest burden that would come with a payment at takeover.

Thommie,Have you seen, in writing, any report that the SS president is interested in doing a deal ? I haven't. Where does your optimism come from ?The only person who seems to think this deal is going to happen is AK, and this after the failure in Chad. The LSE takeover board need to see in writing (not just verbals from ak) that SS are really interested in this deal.Otherwise it should be unsuspended and shareholders can take there own view on what the company is worth. If the SS deal then lands, the shares would be suspended. But no need to do that until everything is signed !

got them to change the report:-Savannah Energy shares are currently suspended due to a reverse takeover by Petronas International Corp. Last traded at 26.25 pence in December 2022.
