First 3-well drilling campaign completed in
April 2020. First of those wells, Akaso-15,
tested at 4,800 bopd

.........

no update on wells 2 & 3 so u can
take it they were dire, which if true
makes the long term future of OML18
short term.
I wonder if SLE advised on the well locations
which could, based on their previous lack of
success with the drillbit, be the reason.

good to see fanny has dropped his absurd claim that
OML18 once produced 200k bopd
couldn't quite bring himself to announce the
actual figure.
couldn't bring himself to announce Eroton's
share of production, no surprise there then.

if u read across to Eroton who have around one tenth of that production
it would equate to sales revenue of 53 mill usd for the first 6 months.

...........

and unsurprisingly it roughly does.

we know the figure for the hedge 6mill a month so
36 mill u$d.
from that u need to deduct (from the other production also)
5 u$d a barrel for transportation, royalty, etc.,

so that leaves 4k bopd lets take an average sales price
of 30 u$d a barrel.
120k x 30 = 3.6mill u$d
total before costs 21.6 mill for the six months.

one fact that isn't a world class oilfield production
profile even if u were on drugs.

if we use the figure of 8kbopd for Eroton production.
It's going to fall with natural depletion.
The hedge for the RBL is 50 u$d.
the cost of the RBL is 6 mill u$ a month roughly.
so 200k per day, that's 4 kbopd.

that leaves 4k bopd production.
the first deduction is the royalty,
the production cost, which includes transport
to the terminal and tax on the hedged production.

the second deduction is the same costs on
the balance of production that isn't hedged
and of course the cost of the hedge.
the cost of the other loans outstanding
and the companies overheads.
there is no money for drilling but they may
have the cost of working over some of the old
wells to maintain production.

Premier Oil PLC on Thursday said it took a knock in the first half of 2020 due to a double set of challenges, as it agreed to refinance its debt facilities and plans to raise more equity.

The oil company with gas and oil interests in the UK, Asia, Africa and Mexico swung to a pretax loss in the half year ended June 30 of USD671.5 million from a profit of USD120.6 million a year prior.

Sales revenue fell 39% to USD530.6 million from USD871.3 million year on year.

Production was 67,300 barrels of oil equivalent per day, down 20% from 84,100 barrels of oil equivalent per day a year prior.

.....

if u read across to Eroton who have around one tenth of that production
it would equate to sales revenue of 53 mill usd for the first 6 months
of the year. that seems, even for Eroton, to be too low.
I'll have a guessestimate at the income later.
guess there will be no way of knowing as shareholders in SLE
aren't included in those figures even though the
future of SLE depends solely on Eroton being able to borrow
even more money.

if it took them 18 months to drill 3 wells with no increase
in production, 50 wells when started
will take 25 years.
