Great work Evil and Chart. I've just had a post removed on SLE board, querying why a signing of a confidentiality agreement on 16th May was not followed by an RNS on 17th.stating that there was anew takeover interest. Delayed to 30th to obfuscate the debacle with the Accounts. KPMG must be squirming.

BEIJING (Interfax-China) -- The government of Jingzhou in Hubei Province has now seized control of a private oil company after the detention of its manager amid allegations of corruption, a local government official confirmed this week.

The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Jingzhou has taken over Tianfa Group, formerly owned and run by Gong Jialong, also chairman of private oil firm Great United Petroleum Co Ltd, and a leading figure in China's burgeoning private oil sector.

If the accounts can not be signed off maybe a more apt RNS would be 'suspended due to clarification of financial position'?

Has it made the 5 million EUR payment to Avobone that was due by the end of this month?
IF it has not then Avobone could serve a high court order it obtained as per rns dated 5th June 2017.

-- During June 2017, San Leon shall pay to Avobone the total sum of EUR5,125,000
-- During October 2017, San Leon shall pay to Avobone a further sum of EUR8,000,000
-- During November 2017, San Leon shall pay to Avobone, a further sum of EUR6,694,840

In the event that San Leon fails to make payment, Avobone shall be able, without further recourse to San Leon, immediately to execute and / or enforce a High Court Order it obtained by consent from the Commercial High Court in London, dated 16 May 2017.

View Thread (3)FCA looking into trading patternsToday 09:22Dear all, I have literally just put the phone down from a conversation with a very nice chappy from the FCA, I could not let this one pass me as I wanted to make sure SLE were a bonafide company. I am happy to report they are. The conversation then went on regarding offer prices and current share price, they said they have already received several calls this morning from investors who are concerned that this companies shares are being played with and controlled by some entity and because of information received they are investigating trades going through on this stock.

Very interesting to hear this as my limited knowledge of this company does suggest something is amiss here. Lets hope if there has been any foul play by market participants that they are swiftly brought to book and dealt a hefty penalty if not prison, as the market should remain level and not skewed to those in the know.

I did ask to be called back and updated should they find anything out of the ordinary but of course they said it was confidential and could hamper their investigation.
