Red you need to chill. You have waited this long why does it have to go up this afternoon? (I think it will by the way but it doesn't matter in the long run). Those in the know are hoovering up right now....

seriously this after year on and not even holding the gains so far this morning looks likely i will have to get some more in to take advantage of the low price.

I absolutely agree. This is the most undervalued dividend stock on AIM. Price of oil has gone up by over $80 a barrel since the stock was suspended. Those that know what they are doing will be buying in right now

indeed BernieBoy and 1jbisky couldn't agree more on both counts - here for the long run and our fellow poster's naivety. when i've observed on this to him previously, he tells us that he's a highly successful investor over many decades and now manages a £2m fund

SLE should be 80p+ it’s real value.Dirt cheap entry.
The price spiked this morning to the mid 50s and has dropped back completely, presumably investors locked in for the last year have decided to cash in their chips and not wait for a further rise, but hopefully true value gets recognised soon. No doubt those sitting on the sidelines who have seen the IC article tip to 82p may see this as a buying opp given this morning's retrace

Good post 1jbisky, I was thinking the same! I am here for the long run. Anyone selling now will I fear regret it in a few months time. Each to their own however.

really no understanding, i have been very critical about this one i had £100k skin in the game for this one i am very very annoyed about this one never came across this in my entire life.

i have been in cairn energy infobank worldpay bvc in the dot com days and many others so yes some down side who hasn't, I started of etrade many years ago so your research has not gone far enough. I have met the founder of ADVFN as well a decided to move from etrade to advfn. so you've only seen my limited posts in the last 22years.

A quick look at your posting history displays your complete lack of understanding of how the stockmarket works.
You have not, at any point, offered any insight or conducted any research into any of the companies you have shown an interest in, instead asking childish questions or making daft statements like "I'm all in here".
A further quick perusal will show that the companies you have shown an interest in are all down between 50 & 85% over the last year/18 months but you're still claiming to be a multibagging alpha trader at the top of his game.
Indeed, who in their right mind, or the real world, lobs £100k at an African oiler because it was tipped by Simon Thompson in the I/C.
Further, you're then expecting your pretend £100k to multiply X 4 because Malcy thinks SLE will be worth 4 times the the suspension price without taking into account the fact that there are many more millions of shares in circulation, the preference shares will have a separate value and although things look to be progressing nicely, the deal is not yet complete.
The genuine posters on this board have done well to tolerate your yapping for as long as they have so I suggest that, being annoyed that all other takeovers have gone up by at least 3 times as much, you sell your pretend £100k interest in SLE and reinvest it in whatever you think is next week's big thing.
You're a fraud.
In other news, I'm quite happy with today's price action to date. Still a lot of it
I's to dot & t's to cross before we're anywhere near full value and another 6 months or so before the benefits of ACOES start to kick in.
Huge value here even at less than $100 a barrel. More patience required yet though.

Managed to sell all my holdings in early trade. In a prior post I said I was thinking around 30% increase in the share price today and managed to get a tad over that.

Can't see any reason for a 100%+ gain on the share price until/if the Supplementary Admission document is issued later in the year. Downside risk is way too big until much nearer the deal coming to fruition.

Was hoping for a big rise today but looks like all the herd are attracted to TGP again on Twitter and telegram groups. We will have our day this week I am sure. Would love a TGP style rise.

Well we've seen the price paid in auction by the professionals, which was above 50. What you are seeing now is what I expected to see first thing, which is small players selling. By my observation Hargreaves Landsdown only started dealing 5 minutes ago, and I would imagine the banks are as bad. I've been able to place orders on the book with IG. Now is the best time to buy IMO, again, as I suggested. I would expect the move higher to gradually occur through today. But not to 100%. I don't know if there is any broker paper out yet, but people are going to need to be guided by that.

red - what were you expecting to see? The admission document is 323 pages, its hard work. At least the CPR is low balling the price of oil, considerably for 2022, but I would think substantially for 2024 and beyond where it just uses flat $66.
