now I know that some posters object to me posting facts about SLE as if I have some unknown power over the market. instead of posting about me stick to the facts.
the fact is until the iceberg is removed it's impossible for the price to go higher, if u want to blame me, u shouldn't really be trading shares, especially SLE.

the iceberg, which is not an iceberg, has been reduced by 750 shares, going to take a while to melt at this rate.

now if anyone wants to post about SLE try any of the below

i. how much oil did Eroton sell last year
ii. how much profit did Eroton make last year or was it a loss
iii. how much of the last interest payment has been made
iv. how much the MLPL has borrowed to pay the interest to date to SLE
v. what was the flow rate on the last well
vi. has the payment due 31 Mar been made
vii. what exactly are the shareholdings in SLE

and not me as I'm quite an expert on me I might respond.

Jees, you really must have lost a ton of money here in the past to want to keep up this non stop verbal barrage, all of which I might add, goes straight into the filtered bin for me. Don't bother replying, I can't see it.

top post by Alaric..iii today..

It is intriguing to read the wild imaginings of market manipulation (always seemingly with negative slant for some reason?) that some posters here believe the Board of SLE indulge in. The directors would be taking big personal risks if any of these were true. For my part I have no problem with the simple truth that we are now in play, as advised in an RNS, and more than likely at these levels and as the rumours suggest, that more than one potential bidder is involved. I don't expect that to impact the share price until either we get further Rawicz news or news on one of our the possible bidders starts to crystallise. In the meantime the lack of any news is evidently detrimental to the share price

......................................................
and my reponse...

spot on post Alaric....got to think if there are 3 companies now involved sle must have something they want!! and proving what they are after is better than what most think here!!

I like a bit of BB banter, just a bit of friendly advice which I give knowing u will ignore it. When anyone posts about me and not SLE I simply repeat some of SLE's history and because they have, what should I say a ' chequered ' history the subject is therefore endless.

That some may regard this as a cruel throwback to Victorian times. Visiting the LSE asylum is like popping down to Bedlam to watch the fantasists or those who are just utterly mad, desport themselves. We should not laugh at such poor creatures. But it is hard not to do so.

The abridged history of the company.

Poland was going to be the making of the company
before that it was the USA
then it was Ireland
then it was Holland
then it was Iraq
then it was back to Poland
then it was Turkey
then it was Morocco
then it was Poland again,
meanwhile Ireland which was going to be a company maker has been hived off with a JV.
then it was back to Turkey until that was a dead duck
then back to Morocco offshore twice, both dusters
then Albania offshore
then Morocco shale was abandoned after around 7 mill euros wasted
then Poland Shale gas, then Poland shale gas and conventional..
then just the conventional which most of has been hived off
then Morocco shale but not the same shale as before
then Poland two dusters so the third well wasn't drilled
then Poland (Rawicz)
then Poland again (Rawicz and Siekerki)
then Poland just Rawicz
Now we have gone full circle it's back to Morocco, not shale but an entirely new
strategy.
then Rawicz again
but not Siekerki
then Albania
then Rawicz15
then Nigeria.
then Rawicz was sold
then Albania wasn't drilled
then Nigeria
then Morocco licences surrendered or confiscated
then Poland licences hived off
now Nigeria
the Polish shale licences returned
now Nigeria
...............

There was a mountain of ramps posted about the above assets, the outcome was a 200 mill plus loss whilst the share price unsurprisingly fell from the equivalent of £40.00 to 25p, the investment of the decade, for shorters that is.

LD - am a new investor in SLE and have taken a reasonable position. all AIM hydrocarbons explorers are pretty high risk but i was attracted by the spread of interesting assets being brought forward here. with a market cap under $100m now, this stock looks to me (and a number of like-minded fellow investors of mine) substantially risk-priced and offering big upside on news coming through. i appreciate your valuable research and insight.
