This is some dogs dinner of a share. Dow et al up 10%+ over last wek or so and this plumbs 10 year low. Its had two £14 buy recs over last 10 days and then offers cost price drugs to developing world and gets hammered! Screwed up getting into this one!!

GSK losing purchasing power, reducing price of most of its drugs.

Added today to my forward contract position to buy gsk in May @880 in return for small premium of 16. A much larger premium is available when forward committing to september at same strike. Felt tempted but decided against that due to worry over US $ currency risk.
Favourable news today on gsk progress with submission of potential blockbuster drug for regulatory approval(report in Daily Mail).

These could move very quickly with the right sentiment, crazy to have been short at the support levels.

Lovely w shaped double bottom forming. There has been strong support at £10 so I'm confident that there is more upside potential than downside risk here

934p here we come, sentiment for pharma's is bad with the Obama factor, may even see 875p in a bad market.

Looks to me like it's bottomed out. You could take a chance and buy before the price goes up through the moving averages. I have :o)

The £10 level offered support today, but we may drop below that tomorrow.

How can the chart suggest 900 and this finger in the air figure of 934...both figures would send this company well through 10 year lows...while am not dismissing it may drop through the current fairly strong support level of 1000(ish) quoting exact falls to prices of 934 is utter clap trap IMHO

It would also take a strong stomach to short this stock at this level until the fall through that support does indeed take place DYOR cos as my name suggests...

900? Rubbish! Wait until Friday and let's see who's closer to 900 or 1100! If you are only looking at the 'Obama effect' you aint looking deeper enough!

I lkke GSK very much, but I think short term, negative sentiment will send this to 934p, nothing to do with fundamentals, Obama factor.
