Moody's downgrades rating
On 22 September 2017, international rating agency, Moody's Investors Service Limited announced that it has downgraded the United Kingdom's long-term issuer rating to Aa2 from Aa1 and changed the outlook to stable from negative.
Following this announcement, Moody's Public Sector Europe announced at close of business on 26 September 2017, that it has downgraded Housing Associations ratings by one notch to reflect the close institutional, operational and financial linkages between Has and the UK sovereign.
As a result of the above Saffron Housing Trust long-term issuer rating has been downgraded by one notch to A3 from A2.
