27/8/2009 10:52 | ENK up 33%. Is the market overlooking the tie up with RMLA, which is only up 12% today? | howdlep
24/8/2009 17:15 | Top tip 888s results are out soon, take a look. | jennyj
24/8/2009 09:57 | Woke up this morning and was shocked to have more then a million pounds worth of RMLA, shame it was a mistake on HBOS part listing teh price as £3.50 | jennyj
21/8/2009 13:54 | From June quarter's activity report: "The Company's cash balance at the end of the quarter was $3.01m as compared to $4.4M at the end of the prior quarter. Receivables from our Heap Leach joint venture partner, European Nickel plc (EN), increased to $0.55m due to work being undertaken by Rusina employees on the Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS). $0.45m has been paid subsequent to the end of the quarter. The average Rusina operating cash expenses continues to be as forecast in the vicinity of $220k per month." | chipperfrd
21/8/2009 13:09 | How are Rusina doing for cash? | zhockey
18/8/2009 11:22 | I sat tight through the last 3 months on RMLA. Just have 100K stock. It may be that I'll add in a few weeks , but wish to see how the markets in general are going. H> | hectorp
18/8/2009 09:11 | I topped up by 25K this morning. I personally think it's only a question of how much this multiplies by and when, rather than if. Of course, beware a black swan, as the usual caveat. DR | drdre
18/8/2009 08:37 | why wouldnt a take out price be materially higher than the current price?? | mp10
17/8/2009 11:04 | Interesting action on the ASX last night, not reflected here as usual. HotCopper has been quite interesting of late, with one poster dangling a valuation of $18 per share in front of the punters' noses, and/or positing a $0.75 take out price. Either would do me ;) I presume that the CPDLC poster is in fact chipperfd? | mattybuoy
11/8/2009 12:05 | Worth a read IMO: | chipperfrd
31/7/2009 21:47 | Matty, How do these leaching results for RGM at Mambare compare to RMLA's leaching recovery percentages please? | 7kiwi
31/7/2009 16:48 | committed to pursuing all opportunities to create greater shareholder wealth Indeed. Remember that Rob Gregory coughed up around A$300,000 of his own money to exercise options at $16.4c - so he "needs" any prospective deal to value the shares at around that level or else he's lost out big time. | mattybuoy
31/7/2009 12:37 | Maybe, but it would appear likely that a paper merger between ENK & RML could well occur once ENK have secured their funding. So perhaps the RML cash situation will cease to have much relevance. Interesting that DMCI are pulling out. I guess they did not fancy their share of the upcoming CAPEX. The possibility of a 15% reduction in CAPEX looks encouraging. Originally mooted at $498m, so now c. $423m - $430m. Chip | chipperfrd
31/7/2009 12:19 | 3.0 / .22 = 13.6 so over a year. But, unless they know of funds arriving they will probably wish to top up in six months or so. | goatherd
31/7/2009 10:14 | Looks inevitable that RMLA will need to add to its coffers in the coming months Notes "The average Rusina operating cash expenses continues to be as forecast in the vicinity of A$220k per month." "The Company's cash balance at the end of the quarter was A$3.01m as compared to A$4.4M at the end of the prior quarter" | giant steps
31/7/2009 10:06 | Folk too busy on TMC will miss RMLA news! RNS 31st July 2009 Extract " The Company has continued to discuss with other industry participants the possibility of undertaking strategic consolidation within the industry sector and remains committed to pursuing all opportunities to create greater shareholder wealth. " | giant steps
10/7/2009 10:09 | Nothing new, just a bit of media coverage. | chipperfrd
08/7/2009 15:53 | The good news is that ENK have secured extra finance of £3 million. Their funding of the heap leach trials at Acoje etc seem secure now. | smilingmickey
03/7/2009 02:25 | New release by RMLA regarding the DSO cessation and further comment about HL progress. | chipperfrd
02/7/2009 00:47 | DMCI shuts down nickel mine THE MINING unit of Consunji-led DMCI Holdings, Inc. has suspended its nickel operations in Zambales because of the steep drop in world prices. "This is to inform the investing public that our nickel mining subsidiary DMCI Mining Corp. will implement a complete suspension of operations of its nickel and ore mining activities in Sta. Cruz, Zambales," DMCI Holdings said in its disclosure yesterday. In an interview, DMCI Chief Finance Officer Aldric G. Borlaza said the drop in nickel prices meant operations were no longer feasible. "We started our commercial operations early last year and in the middle part of 2008, nickel prices started to go down. We were still profitable in the first quarter of 2008 but it further went down," Mr. Borlaza said. "By the last part of 2008, we were just liquidating most of our stocks." Mr. Borlaza said nickel operations in Zambales might resume if nickel prices improve but there would be no additional investments or purchases of equipment unless prices stabilize. Prior to the suspension, the miner extracted around 300,000 metric tons of nickel, which was exported to China during the Olympics. But demand for stainless steel, where nickel is a main raw material, went down after the quadrennial event. Nickel prices have gone down from a high of $14.96 per pound last year to $7.25 per pound as of Tuesday because of weak demand from China. DMCI is a holding company that has businesses in property, construction, utilies and coal mining. It owns coal resources in Semirara Island in Antique, which is said to have 150 million metric tons of coal reserves. Shares in the company closed at P6.30 per share yesterday, 3.07% lower. - Kristine Jane R. Liu | andrew651
01/7/2009 11:45 | rrogans, Yes, with Hargreaves Lansdowne. | chipperfrd
01/7/2009 11:40 | rrogans, Yes, I have it in an ISA with First Direct (HSBC) - had to convince them of the secondary listing but we got there in the end! | strollingmolby
01/7/2009 11:39 | Does anyone here have RMLA in their ISA? Dual listed, so I would've thought it was legitimate. | rrogans
27/6/2009 11:14 | Xstrata finally taking a look at Tampakan. ps. for anyone who is unaware of the significance of Tampakan. Rusina holds 40% of Sodaco (Cu/Au) licence, which is within the Tampakan FTAA and within a few hundred metres of this huge deposit. Bit of a long-term speculation that Xstrata, et al, may eventually buy out Sodaco interest because geophysics indicate hot spots extending into their licence area. But best we don't 'hold our breath' !! | chipperfrd |
