RMR plc - Launch of new e-learning authoring software.


Specialist software provider, RMR plc, will be building on its new e-leaning
software, Elevate, at a leading training exhibition in Birmingham this week.


Straight from its launch at the Islington Business Design Centre in early
June, Elevate will be demonstrated to hundreds of new potential clients at the
Training Solutions Exhibition on Stand H47 at the NEC in Birmingham on 26-28
June.


Elevate (www.elevatelearning.com) is a new authoring software tool which
enables companies to create their own Internet-based training programme using
their own material and deliver individual courses to each member of staff.


Elevate contains four key parts, which together deliver a fully functional
e-learning software solution to suit the exact training needs of any business.


  * The Elevate Course Builder - Elevate enables trainers to seamlessly
    build their own training course using existing content. Elevate
    automatically converts a company's content into web-pages which can be
    constantly refreshed as required. By using Elevate, trainers need no
    specialist web-knowledge to create their own Internet-based training
    course.

  * The Elevate Learner Interface - Elevate offers a wide range of
    interaction with the training content. Features on the Learner Interface
    include quizzes, multiple choice exams, self-assessment exercises, drag
    and drop exercises, hyperlink web resources sections and video streaming
    without the need for further plug-ins.

  * The Elevate Tutor/Trainee Interaction System - Elevate has been designed
    with both synchronous (real time) and asynchronous (delayed) modes of
    interaction. Features include real-time chat; virtual classrooms;
    electronic white boards, discussion forums and seamless e-mail
    communication.

  * The Elevate Learning Management System - Elevate is fully database
    driven and therefore every individual trainee's activity can be tracked to
    allow accurate assessment of performance. Individual Continuing
    Professional Development diaries are created which reflect both past
    achievements and future training needs.
