Disappointing so far for a company about to explore in The Fraser Range; nearology factor has been maybe a too far nearology at 18 meters.
Anyway, Sirius Resources are reporting tonight after 9.20pm GMT. Hopefully some good news for this laggard:

heard something very intresting yesterday. that rmr are exspecting some good news about greenland. if its true maybe they wont need to go to the markets for the funding of frazer??? hope so. we shall see?

There has certainly been an eerie silence at RMR for quite a while now. On Hotcopper also. Unfortunately RGM cannot release information before RMR announces. My gut feeling tells me that AB has to be the driver in planning each step and probably the instigator of fundraising. With everything else on his plate (except worring about how to release Colombian quarterly gold production figures)something has got to give in his schedule. However,we can't afford to lose momentum on what could be a juicy piece of real estate with "assymetrical" short term potential returns!

pww1, It's all quiet over in Australia, and as you say, the results from Greenland are due plus the agreed financing plans with Regency. Thoughts are that fund raising will follow Greenland announcements. I'm told this is a quiet very cold period in Greenland and results will be announced as soon as they are received.

Noirua,

I am not as close to following RMR as you appear to be. From my research some many weeks ago, any thoughts on the RMR option to buy the balance of the 49% of their Greenland project, on or before 21st January I think it was? The option has been extended in the past I recall. There also seems to be a long delay in announcing drilling results on Greenland.

Painting a rosy picture of lithium and tantalum

Critical Elements is not only relying on lithium to make money from Rose - tantalum is another in-demand metal that is enjoying a rising price.

At the moment the metal used for capacitors and alloys is trading at $125 – $130 a pound, up from $100 a year ago.

While conventional tantalum mines in Canada and Australia sign long-term supply contracts, artisanal mining in central Africa and Brazil accounts for a full 50% of total mining output.

These producers operate in almost a spot market which can lead to periods of oversupply.

Nevertheless analysts predict 5% per annum growth rate to 2020, while many including Lavallée predict much stronger pricing in the medium-to-longer term of closer to $300.



What plans do RMR have for Greenland in 2013 and how does the rising price of Tantalum effect the economics of the project?
