A strategic review at oil services minnow Rock Solid Images (RSI) could spell good news for the shares if the company follows through on its proposals to "restructure, sell part or sell all of the Company." Following the divestment of the capital intensive and loss making marine electro-magnetic acquisition business of OHM Ltd and OHM Surveys Sdn Bhd in November 2010, RSI successfully repositioned itself as a high-end geophysical consultancy with an industry leading position in the integration of data types including seismic and electro-magnetics. Of late the company has seen "a growing level of market acceptance and customer interest in its traditional seismic business (the WSS division), particularly in relation to unconventional opportunities including shale gas, and in RSI's integrated seismic and EM offering". Given the firm's expertise in this growing niche of the energy market, not to mention a strong run of contract wins achieved lately, I would be surprised if the company failed to garner any interest. Broker Fox Davies had a 13p price target as of September 2011, and net cash stood at £1.7 million as of August 2011. In light of the current market cap of c.£2.4 million, there appears ample room for upside.

Especially as Fox Davies are generally rather conservative in their valuations IMO.

Happy with the consolidation here at the minute. Think we will be back in the 3-5p range soon.

Any dips in the share price and I will be adding.

Quite unbvelievable that Fox Davies have a 13p target and we are sat at 2p offer after all the recent good news.

I think it's good we have sellers as they are filling buyers orders.
