It's worth remembering this phrase from the June 16th results statement:

"the Company remains confident of converting, over the next three to six months, the detailed contractual discussions into long-term orders of significant scale."

I read that as meaning the contracts should start getting converted from late-September onwards, so I don't expect to hear anything til then at the earliest.

AISHAH -

Both the link and the text of the Questor article have changed. The analysis is positive, noting that the business has advanced since IPO and that Questor has changed its recommendation from sell to hold.

Questor previously recommended selling the shares due to the debt levels, however the debt was retired following the flotation on aim leaving the group debt free to expand operations and the recommendation moved to a hold.

Proof of concept here comes when clients confirm the current trials as orders. Given that the BOD is partly composed of former senior management of these same large potential clients, and so have inside knowledge of their operations as well as personal relationships with current boards, their heavy buying of shares since IPO indicates indirectly that the business is moving ahead as hoped and anticipated. So IMV the 55p looks like a failed downward break in charting terms. But time will tell.

I'm looking at the investment proposition here.It takes me a long time to come to a decision.I try to seperate the wood from the chaff .( if they manufactured the traditional pallet, there would be a weak attempt at a pun here).I certainly can't base much of my decision on what 'star investment managers do,particularly if it's a very small position, which may,or may not be an 'outlier',(spelling?),the 'spice' in an otherwise predictable income fund.I see plenty of exectution risk and i presume they are making them already in little alcoves all over China/Thailand/etc.,etc. Anyway, good luck to holders and,in case you might be wondering,I have never shorted a stock.Come to think of it,if I had shorted some of the ones I bought,I might be rather wealthy today.

Among the small caps, innovative pallet developer RM2 International was a strong performer, up nearly 17.5pc or 11p to 74p as traders noted recent share buying by its chief executive.RM2, which star investment manager Neil Woodford has included in his recently launched Woodford Equity Income fund, has trodden a rocky path since joining AIM in January.

It's not the pallets themselves, it's the way the company can manage pallet distribution and movement more cheaply and with less hassle than a client using their own. The key is their very high level contacts in blue chip companies that make heavy use of pallets: RM2 understand how the system works and can make a profit by cutting costs for these large operators. Yes, at this point it's speculative because everything depends on delivery of contracts - but the decision to increase pallet production, and heavy buying by directors all the way down from the IPO, both indicate that things are developing as the expected. IMV it's an attractive risk-reward profile at this point.

Cant see the attraction either.
You could penetrate the moat here with a few wooden pallets found by the roadside.
