02/4/2008 17:12 | Lenigas used to be on the board at Braemore but still owns quite a number of shares I believe. He's just been made CEO of Hot Tuna (talk about diversifying!) Brinkley Mining, Templar Minerals, River Diamonds, Lenigas and Oil. All that's without looking at my file, but there are more. I know that with Lonrho he's quite diversified but the investments are common sense. I'll dig out my file! | brokerbird
02/4/2008 16:22 | brokerbird, Wow! Never knew that. Lonzim caught my eye today and I have high hopes for CAN, too, because of their foothold and connections in Zim. But back to RVD. Could they repeat the Vatoukula model in Zim? Maybe find a little near-shell miner....they are becoming more abundant...with an AIM listing, and reverse into it a swathe of juicy Zim gold prospects? Look out for any little companies in which Lenigas or Colin Orr Ewing take a stake! | mikkydhu
02/4/2008 15:31 | Well Mikky bearing in mind David Lenigas's new role within RVD and his role in Lonrho/Lonzim the answer is a YES! That said, Lonrho has dropped a bit whilst Lonzim has risen nicely. I hold all so I'm keeping my fingers crossed! | brokerbird
02/4/2008 15:21 | Now that Colin Orr Ewing has Vatukoula under his belt, I wonder if he will stop there. Maybe this has only whetted his appetite. I don't know if he has any contacts in Zimbabwe, land of mining opportunity. | mikkydhu
02/4/2008 14:42 | I am with you regarding holding onto my shares in RVD and TMP as there is a huge potential for profit/dividends and a future valuation that is going to make the current share price look silly. The opportunity to add at this price will not last much longer with gold already coming out of the mine and thousands more ounces to come. I am adding as funds are availabvle to do so. | silveraw
02/4/2008 14:04 | Me too Seagreen, I don't need to sell so i will be holding to see how it all pans out. Who knows what may happen here. It could turn very sweet. will follow with interest. Who had already made a silly bid, im not in the know with RVD. Good luck sg | goldeneye5
02/4/2008 13:38 | Goldeneye they have turned down one silly bid already its an easy tack on to the reserves once we get up to 100,000 oz some one is just goign to come in and go thanks very much.......anyway much prefer to sit on this than try and duck and dive and trade in what is a veritable casino out there! | seagreen
02/4/2008 11:12 | good post Imab, The share price performance has been very poor here, can't believe that this is not higher. It doesn't make much sense. I would guess that one of these days it may just take off. Could RVD be taken out by a Major? hope so. | goldeneye5
02/4/2008 09:25 | Imab - good post let's hope we see 16p :-) suppose the drop today is because of the gold price (ca $888 compared to 1000) | andrbea
02/4/2008 09:09 | nice post IMAB | rokkie
02/4/2008 08:29 | IMA A brilliant and well constructed post well done. | silveraw

01/4/2008 10:01 | .... well, pleased the mine is finally 100% in the hands of RVD .... | imabastard
01/4/2008 09:44 | ..... be honest Seagreen .... you were below 17.3 !!!! ;o) | imabastard
01/4/2008 09:42 | I got 25. 44.1% smarter than average. So why do I nearly always pick dud shares? Apart from RVD of course! | tasciovanus
01/4/2008 09:02 | whilst your waiting for RVD to go to 20p here is a little test to keep you all occupied I got 18 | seagreen
01/4/2008 08:59 | Finally got their act together, wake up Barclays! | tasciovanus
01/4/2008 08:49 | imab someone just hovered up 7.2m of PRL another 5 bagger in the making but hey ho | seagreen
01/4/2008 08:48 | Well I did say there was a road show this week and a few people think it will ultimately get bought out for in excess of 16p if you value the oz's in the ground on the most conservative comparable emerging miners on aim basis they have already turned down one takeover bid by a south african major ...it is a cheap way of tacking on 5moz to your reserves but wtfdik 8=) | seagreen
01/4/2008 08:42 | Moved up to narrow spread of 4.3 - 4.4. Encouraging! | tasciovanus
01/4/2008 08:36 | Barclays haven't got their act together yet, still no online quote for RVD. Whereas ii have. No sign of 6p yet! | tasciovanus
01/4/2008 08:35 | yellow stuff out of the ground in January | andrbea
01/4/2008 08:27 | Mind you I could have said that and I do not get paid like them analysts 8-) | seagreen |
