off topic punters its well worth looking at cenes pharmaceuticals (CEN)at 9p as the company have several major developments one in particular -re its latest phase three drug programe is near to final stages --this should see cenes attract a bid very soon from a major u.s. drug group ---these shares could be worth at least 50p --and in the next few weeks -my view is a hell of a lot more upside with cenes than any other company imho --as glaxo has already provided cenes with most of the help towards the development and research costs over these past 5 years spending millions developing this pain relief drug that will replace morphine in due course and removing the harmful side effects of a morpheme addiction after an illness --at long last these shares will pay dividends ----so do your own research punters and put you and your own children in for a few shares is my advice --and as a stockbroker amongst many other things --its a company and share i strongly believe in and i am very happy in recommending to all my friends and clients

Harry Punter You say "... most of the R&D costs has been covered already".

Sorry. But that just isn't true. These compounds have yet to go through Phase II and Phase III trials. These can be very expensive (several £m), and most compounds fail at this stage.

Sounds like you're ramping this, as you don't seem to know much about the pharmaceutical industry.

Caveat emptor !

lol jordaggy a few maybe --shear speculation--these guys wouldn't have gone alone like this -- putting risk and reputations on line if this company wasn't going to become a highly profitable and viable concern --most of the R&D costs has been covered already and this september we should be pleasantly surprised with some positive newsflow ---i think this company is a great purchase for the future but its not a short term punt

best regards harry and the boys in dark glasses

Getting a drug passed thro' stage III trials will take about 9 years !! one for the long term I guess.....

still not convinced about this one --

having researched the scientific background, there is nothing that I can see to suggest that the compounds held by biopartners will prove effective, let alone, commercially viable.

Sorry.

Good luck if you willing to take a blind leap of faith though.

"Bombed Out" it may well be but for those value seekers this sleeping giant seems to have started to turn the corner and the cycle is turning in it's favour.

Do not be shocked to see this become a hot stock and is one to tuck away. With possible better newsflow over the next few months the share price could start to motor.

one to keep an eye on imho.

my money is betting minister will at some point start recruiting the very best and most highly qaulified graduates and pharmacists in the industry --a bit of head hunting if needed to develope and bring these compounds to market without having to bung politicians for approval like what goes on in the sector at presant --i think these shares are a strong buy imho

they could at least wait till the shares are 10p or 15p before selling -still at least the small sellers are soon out the way at this price and not higher
