02/4/2009 11:09 | Same here MT - Ridge has always been victim to terrible timing - let's hope it rides our way for the endgame at least. PS - I closed the spreadbet - but kept my holding intact so far. | mangotude
02/4/2009 11:08 | Ridge up almost 9% and it's 122 on the risers lists. What is the world coming to? The market has turned into Vegas - I just hope things hold up while the deal goes through. We haven't seen the worst of this recession and some kamikaze traders are going to get seriously burnt | murrayteller
02/4/2009 11:04 | silverfern, calling the G20 outcome and world markets is futile - just tongue- in-cheek for mangotude who seems to be stalking on several threads | giant steps
02/4/2009 11:00 | Of course you wouldn't like to call it Silverfern, because you're not an arrogant moron. No one knows for sure what's going to happen. Let's hope it's positive at least for the next couple of months. | mangotude
02/4/2009 10:58 | well I wouldn't like to call the G20 outcome! I expect the bull run to last into tomorrow, but I think the banks are due another shock. Maybe tighter regulations etc could send them down again. Of course that could argue for better value in commodity stocks. We'll see | silverfern
02/4/2009 10:58 | MT, Part of my relief of RDG finally getting taken over will be won't have to read what this clown posts on a regular basis. GS, If it ain't rocket science, why did you admit on PLAA to selling some of your holding of Ridge? Silverfern has been adding I believe. Glad to see you know exactly what the markets are going to do worldwide, especially since they've gone up significantly perhaps in anticipation of the meeting. I don't know why, given your genius, 'foxy' eurofox keeps ignoring you. on Plaa he asked if anyone had any TA knowledge. How could he forget you? Laser - are you making sure you have Internet access locked down for this trip - must have crossed your mind lightning striking twice. | mangotude
02/4/2009 10:53 | Exactly silverfern, rocket science it ain't. After G20 the markets are likely to be in positive mood in the run up to easter and this bodes well | giant steps
02/4/2009 10:51 | Ex rights tomorrow for AQP? It's factored in already; the price is being steered by the wider market. Whether it goes up or down will more likely be due to what happens to the DOW and G20 in the enxt few days. | silverfern
02/4/2009 10:45 | interesting on charts on iii says aqp range 299p -325p lots of volume recently on aqp LOL mango funny you should mention that one of my tasks today is to find some flights late June | laserdisc
02/4/2009 10:37 | If AQP is at 230p, what will be the theoretical ex rights price tomorrow? 10% dilution would give 207p which would equate to 75p for RDG? | rottcodd
02/4/2009 10:36 | Rocket science it ain't. A steal, as I said when I bought earlier and so it is. | silverfern
02/4/2009 10:28 | laser, when's your next holiday? I want to know when the next takeover is due. | mangotude
02/4/2009 10:25 | 27k volume on plus just hope if a predator comes for aquarius rdg shareholders also enjoy the party but then again i suppose its the rdg deal that makes aqp more attractive | laserdisc
02/4/2009 10:14 | Great to see RDG on the next leg up, prices bid 68p offer 70p | giant steps
02/4/2009 09:13 | Now 84p against AQP price. Mining stock has done well this week - I've been partuclalry lucky with KAZ.Bought more Ridge this morning. It dones't seem beyonf possibility we could see AQP at 275p, meaning 100p for Ridge so I see the current price at as a steal. | silverfern
02/4/2009 08:28 | Ridge now worth 81p. How long are we going to have to wait till true value is reflected? Also XTA flying. Perhaps they could make a bid before getting taken out. | doshdabbler
01/4/2009 13:37 | i see you reckon August Sept cash could be tight again, well they have roughly $33m coming from AQP for repayment of loans & expenses they should have further cash from production runs (that 1st production figure realised should be known in next 2weeks). Lets hope rdg do not have to raise further cash. One would think that they have the expertise to do a 6mth cashflow statement of what is now required. I reckon they must have known some time back about costs overun ,hence the aqp deal must have been simmering for some time perhaps it was an option when they were looking for shebas ridge partners & not till this late stage for it to get serious some sells came through earlier but now they all mopped up with a 100k buy i reckon @63.25p it was 63.50p to buy early morning we had about 80k through plus mkts the other day seems the sells are being absorbed | laserdisc
01/4/2009 12:03 | laser, I think it's wise to top slice just a few. In the meantime, do you think the ridiculous timeframe means RDG is going to have to raise cash themselves, since AQP won't be able to finance them till the deal is done? | doshdabbler
01/4/2009 09:23 | I intend to hold most of my holding despite this long time frame but i have to admit did sell a few, in view that everyone seems to have sold out still difficult to buy on line they will only give a firm quote for 2000 to buy yet you can sell 25000 on line. price 63.50p to buy 62.52p to sell.AQP holding around £2. i have noticed a few large buys 25k 50k appearing at the close since last week | laserdisc
30/3/2009 17:02 | Don't think there is. They are well funded now and heading for 250k ramp up in production. The best value pgm producer IMO. | the metal man
28/3/2009 05:20 | Thank you ad. It's a tough call so I'll take my time on that one. Platmin also looks attractive. In fact it looks almost too good to be true. Apart from the Pallinghurst stake, what's the catch? | murrayteller
27/3/2009 18:41 | remember this from 2006 ZIJIN TO ACT AS CONSOLIDATOR 10 million grant warrants at 70p/share still to be exercised | laserdisc |
