Makes me wonder whether there is a secret underground bunker somewhere with a family of survivalist velociraptors still munching their way through a stockpile of 65 million years worth of spam. Should be easy to find, that many empty cans would create quite a magnetic anomaly...

re Wells in the sea, you have jogged the memory banks, I remember a flood tide depositing a coaster on the quayside, late 1970s? I can't recall how they moved it back into the sea...

As far as I recall Norfolk should be ok, being what is known in technical circles as "pre-flattened", with the possible exception of the spectacular mountain range at Wells Next the Sea.
