06/1/2021 12:09 | I have to say I've been dithering over selling mine for about a month and I suspect I'll continue to dither as I don't really see anything I prefer enough after dealing with spread costs. | cc2014
06/1/2021 10:46 | Sky - Which broker did you use ? | cousin jack
06/1/2021 10:27 | FWIW, I ditched mine for 99.6p on 9/12. The holding was with iDealing and the accrued interest was shown as a separate line on the contract note. Possibly your broker doesn't mention the accrued at the time of the trade but do add it in for the contract note, which I'm not keen on personally. I seem to recall that EQI do that-but my memory might be dodgy! | cwa1
06/1/2021 10:12 | Thnx CWA1 - will see if they amend the CN as at the moment nothing accrued! | skyship
06/1/2021 09:53 | Should get whatever the accrued interest due is added to the total you receive from the actual underlying sale. IE if you sell 10,000 you get 10,000 x 97p PLUS accrued, less any sale costs levied by your broker obviously | cwa1
06/1/2021 09:42 | Sold today @ 97. Q.: Not sure exactly how these bonds are priced. Do I get an accrued dividend in addition to the sale price? | skyship
26/11/2020 14:55 | A few other bonds have 'popped' today as well | badtime
26/11/2020 13:37 | Market madness if you ask me. A few weeks ago 90p to buy and huge volume available on the market. Now 98p and MM scratching trying to find sellers to support the buying strength. | cc2014
26/11/2020 09:49 | Small "pop" this morning amidst some nosey purchases | cwa1
10/9/2020 12:56 | Hi Tilts - thnx for that. I see another 10k went today; so stock slowly being absorbed. | skyship
09/9/2020 12:13 | Not in small corporate bonds! | tiltonboy
09/9/2020 11:00 | The majority of trades in bonds are done on the interbank market and never show on the stock exchange. | spittingbarrel
09/9/2020 10:40 | The seven trades yesterday were AT trades which show as they happen. The other trades show at 7pm on my screen for some reason. There were five further trades during the day totalling 26,700 shares | tiltonboy
09/9/2020 09:59 | Thanks Skyship, I already have a fair holding in these but have just topped-up too although had to pay a touch over 90p including accrued income. Quite a wide spread but not an issue for anyone holding until redemption. | redhill9
09/9/2020 08:54 | A great opportunity yesterday to park some cash for 4yrs on a 7.47% yield. A seller of RGL1 (the RGL 4.5% bond maturing 06/08/24) sold 70k at prices down from 88.35 to 87.00. Sold in 10k lots. I scooped a top-up at 88.69, that = 89.17 inc. 35days accrued; and a GRY of 7.47% The trade doesn't show - is that normal with bonds I wonder... In view of the fact that 70k were sold, they could still be available. | skyship
29/7/2020 08:28 | I also have been considering buying although BUR3 looks better value. If anyone has any other bonds to suggest offering value please advise. | dekle
29/7/2020 08:05 | I bought a few of these about a month ago. More than a toe in the water but happy to buy more when I can see more clarity about where things are going. | cc2014
27/7/2020 10:54 | I've taken an initial (small) amount. Will probably add at some stage, but need to see how the property market settles. | tiltonboy
27/7/2020 09:29 | Hi From the RGL website:- Coupon Dates 6 August and 6 February So should be paid on, or around, those dates-all other things being equal. There is NO XD date as it is a bond with the accrued interest paid for at the time of purchase(and the interest paid on the dates above). | cwa1
27/7/2020 08:40 | When did this go ex div? | dekle
27/7/2020 08:08 | Coupon Date 6th August. Long time since I held a bond; but I assume unless corrected that the semi-annual coupon date signifies paydate for 2.25%... | skyship
19/6/2020 14:58 | RGL REIT 4.5% 2024 Bond Company Page: Fixed Income Investor article from 2018 | cwa1 |
