All these so-called buyers lined up and different doors to open up on corridors yet we give another 2months grace for no money. More BS from the snake oil salesman.

"...and are now working on draft agreements with minority shareholders for a complete sale of the mine."
that seems to be the delay. They want the whole mine, not just our 51%. Unfortunately, by the time it completes we will no doubt have had another dilution which will devalue the value of our holdings, unless we average down...again!

"NMC have committed time and resources to due diligence on the Four Points Mining assets"

Yes what a shame you didn't take such time Andrew instead you sold shareholders down the river for what was hot at the time.

Still believe it when I see it, another GL in the making and more dilution coming while he spins the story forward.

Rubbish!!

Adds to the feeling the Colombia 'sale' is vapourware, like Greenland last year.

Odd that a former owner of the mine needs so long to do the due diligence on it.
Odd also that the RNS forgot to mention that bit (J Martin being a former owner).

Extension of Exclusivity - Update

11(th) September 2014

Red Rock Resources plc, the mining and exploration company with gold interests in Colombia, Kenya, and Ivory Coast, announces an update in relation to the proposed sale of its Colombian interests to Nicaragua Milling Company Limited ("NMC").

Further to the Company's announcement on 12(th) August 2014, Red Rock has now executed an amendment to the terms of the Letter of Intent ("LOI") to extend the outside date for exclusivity to 10(th) October 2014.

The outside date for closing is 10(th) November 2014. Further announcements will be made as the transaction progresses.

Company Chairman Andrew Bell comments:

"NMC have committed time and resources to due diligence on the Four Points Mining assets and are now working on draft agreements with minority shareholders for a complete sale of the mine. We have been working closely with NMC during this time and have agreed a further extension of the exclusivity period to allow these additional matters to be concluded. This is a reasonable request and does not reflect a lack of assiduity in pursuing the transaction on either their part or ours; NMC has earlier made significant payments for exclusivity and both parties remain committed to the earliest possible conclusion to the sale process."

"Musings on exclusivity periods.
If under such restriction there is but one way forward, think a narrow corridor.
If not under restriction more can come in, think large room with lots of exits.
To ponder, better to be stuck in the corridor or free to move around in the room?"

What an utter crock. I've heard of management consultancy speak but that is all drivel masquerading as relevant comment.

Are we sure AAE isn't Bell because the above is exactly what you'd expect an ex Morgan Grenfell banker to say when pontificating on how he can tell us we aren't going to be selling Colombia any time soon without admitting such.

Wasn't the Colombia deal supposed to be finalised by today?

If so, can't wait for the after hours RNS announcing either another delay or that the deal is off.
