24/9/2024 14:33 | To date they've got 62m in the door - 50m placings and 12.5m from Shell. They currently have 8m in cash (April) less whatever they've spent since then.So in simplistic terms they've invested and spent about 56mm of shareholders cash to get to where they are today. (Not including the value of shares issued for other shares or assets ie LNE/Simwell etc). | kim_clay

24/9/2024 09:10 | Today's Rathlin accounts adds further context - it contains a material uncertainly going concern statement.Cash at end 23 was 2.4m (2.2m available) with sufficient funds "to maintain operations" until Q3 25. NSTA has requested they abandon some of the existing wells at a cost of 1.7m net to Rathlins 66% share by Dec 24, it is unclear if an extension to this deadline has been granted along with the approved drilling deferral. The obvious implication is that third party funding is currently unavailable. The planned low cost (1hr) proppant squeeze to see if they can establish flow is critical to further funding. If it doesn't flow then the implication is that further funding (9m to Rathlin's share) for a drill is unlikely and also begs the question of who will fund the 2.5m well abandonments. | kim_clay

23/9/2024 06:13 | 2025 via UJO. We are expecting West Newton, another key onshore project within Union Jack's portfolio, with impressive Contingent Resources reported within the RPS Group Limited ("RPS") CPR, to see activity during 2025. This enigmatic project, in the opinion of the directors, fully deserves its high ranking within the Company's asset portfolio. Union Jack's technical team has dedicated considerable time to examining the "hidden" prospectivity within the PEDL183 licence area, having mapped numerous prospects, indicating possible substantial gas in place, over and above the already discovered Kirkham Abbey formation resource. | sleveen
20/9/2024 19:25 | Interesting move in the share price today. | uggy100 |
