11/1/2021 16:55 | Hi GP My understanding of that RNS a and another update on the Raithlin site on August 2019 is that they have all the permissions required and would only have to apply for field development and production, but the drilling and the testing are good to go. | simon_64
11/1/2021 16:15 | I think the PLANNING permission mentioned in the 10 Dec '20 RNS relates to East Riding local council. Permission may possibly not have been granted yet by the OGA and / or the EA for the B1Z testing. Have you seen anything different elsewhere? | greypanther2
11/1/2021 15:15 | Thanks Huff. I was expecting EWT by end of this month, I am not sure whether the current lockdown will delay this, I would think not, if so I would have expected them to say something by now. | simon_64
11/1/2021 14:23 | the Rathlin press release says they DO have necessary permissions or are you saying there are new and updated permissions requested since then? 10-12-20). WEST NEWTON OPERATIONS UPDATE Rathlin Energy (UK) Limited is pleased to announce that the West Newton B1Z well has been successfully drilled to a total depth of 2,114 metres. The operation has been conducted safely and in accordance with Covid-19 related guidance and restrictions. The B1Z well encountered a 62 metre thick hydrocarbon bearing Kirkham Abbey reservoir section. A core was cut and recovered from the Kirkham Abbey and has been sent for analysis. Wireline logs have also been acquired. The well will be cased and cemented to total depth and then temporarily suspended, pending further evaluation. The drilling rig and associated equipment will be demobilised from site prior to Christmas. All of the information acquired during the drilling operation will be analysed to inform a future testing programme. Planning permission is in place for the testing of this well and the drilling and testing of one more well from the West Newton B site. | huffster
11/1/2021 14:09 | Hi simon_64. Rathlin certainly have all the permissions they require to carry out the A2 EWT, but I'm not so sure they have them yet for the B1Z EWT. Have you seen anything in an RNS on this subject? If they don't yet have them for B1Z the EWT could still be a few weeks away. | greypanther2
10/1/2021 18:33 | Is They now have all the correct permissions in place. Everything is on site according to RBD, the only hold ups we have had have been due to the discovery of oil a nice hold up to have and the lockdown last year, I am not sure if this current lockdown will affect them, we can only wait to hear now. | simon_64
10/1/2021 18:13 | Will Rathlin need to apply for permission to run the EWT?What sort of time scales are we talking about to get this completed? | jsforum
10/1/2021 17:54 | Interesting post on LSE penned by MW back in Sept. | simon_64
09/1/2021 09:44 | Hi xxx. The Kirkham Abbey at WN is a carbonate(limestone / dolomite, so I assume they are treating both the gross and net pay as 100%. | greypanther2
08/1/2021 20:28 | Here is a question I cant find an answer to : Have they not released the net to gross for the reservoir? If not, why not ? | xxx
08/1/2021 17:57 | Total agree granny. Right behind you Curry. | soulsauce
08/1/2021 16:27 | For any of you that want to contact them I would suggest Twitter. I am not a member but it seems to be their preferred way of making contact. The dynamic duo have been tweeting to shareholders this afternoon regarding WN by all accounts. | simon_64
08/1/2021 16:10 | What a strange days trading again. It so often goes down on very little volume and then stages a late recovery. Maybe it's the market makers trying to drum up business? Who knows. But as Crude oil continues to climbs towards $60, the value of West Newton goes up and up. | 32campomar
08/1/2021 15:49 | RBD is asset building in the oil and gas field, once an asset has built up sufficient value it will be sold and the cash either paid out to shareholders or(more likely) re-invested, it is unlikely to ever be cash flow positive. | dan de lion
08/1/2021 15:45 | Sell off over. Since the latest drill POO a up §5 dollars per barrel, gas and condensate have also flown, makes WN even more attractive and expensive for buyers. Leaving Cali and Parta out of the picture for now, but massive for them as well. | simon_64
08/1/2021 14:41 | I would contact Investor relations and ask them. Secondly none of us know. Again contact investor relations. Hope that helps. | simon_64
08/1/2021 14:33 | I wonder if you could help me out with this one. In 2016 it showed that Jeremy Edelman held 6.2% of the shares and a further 38.6% through 'Saltwind' for a total of 44% of the co. The current share register info shows that to no longer be the case: hxxps://reabold.com/ anyone know what happened to his stake? Are RBD ever planning to go cashflow positive? Or are they just empire building (asset gathering) through eternal dilution? The Cali assets looked promising for that, but then as per last interims only generated £570k. Any reason that the co-CEO's have such small stakes in the company? Yet rewarded with 150m options each at not much more than the current SP? | gb904150
08/1/2021 13:41 | Well I can see that you are getting yourself all worked up as your spelling has taken a turn for the worse so I will leave you and stick to the other board. But making childish false accusations because someone has a different take does your credibility no good whatsoever. That's what these boards are for. | soulsauce
08/1/2021 13:30 | You no nothing Soul, I am not over exposed at all, I have averaged Dow from buying at .9 three years ago and am comfortably in profit. How you can say Cali was not worth 2.9 million invested and is now worth six times that beggars belief. Parta is also money well invested and will be huge not as big as WN. Corallian our share is valued at £50 million, I do disagree with that and think it is worthless. | simon_64
08/1/2021 13:22 | Because simon what I have is that underwater it's not worth selling. I am here for WN alone as the rest of the portfolio has not been worth the massive amount of shares used to purchase them. It's pretty simple simon, no conspiracy or underhand tactics. I would suggest you are a little over exposed to be going on this blinkered view and throwing accusations around. | soulsauce |
