Yup not looking to hold forever but defo want to hold into Parta and Rathlin as look like no brainers to me, both should be drilled by late Q1.

Management have been top quality, top cash raises, great deals etc the only issue I see so far is they need to give a lot more leeway in drilling times.

They only go by what the operator tells them which is fair enough but maybe take that with a pinch of salt when relaying to the market. UK government on Wick/Colter have been as slow as a snail.

Giving it 12 months. Not over 3p within that time frame then its a mega fail by S&S. Somehow am thinking will see that share price and more though

Not great to see Monroe taken back due to heavy rain, should be relatively minor tho

Rathlin work commencing and Curlew gaining traction, Wick rig move has been offically stamped in so should be drilling soon you will not get drill results until early Jan as drill is 30+ day if I recall.

Depends how you look at the company a trade or an investment.

Malcy is a useless wannabe journalist who has no skill in either; spotting a bargain, understanding financing nor can he read a chart...
.06p was written all over it from 1st placing....

RBD: Delay after delay...Placing after placing. 200,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 shares for sale from the last placing...
But you'll get there,

Knock knock! Where are the rampers now?
Yep, one year I've been here, warning that this company was another AIM con. I told you about paid these paid rampers. The further dilution. The delays and so on...
Did I say .6p. Yes I did.
Know you know...

Useful info thanks Steel, worth rechecking the EIA to see what the indicative VSP plot is. Quite constrained though by proximity to the SPA and actual cliffs. I have no idea what the atmospheric sound energy is for seismic. Never normally a factor given the locations of most offshore prospects.

Of the 3 outstanding permit applications for Wick, permission to locate a mobile drilling unit was granted 7/12 (site updated this morning). Outstanding are the actual drilling permit and vertical seismic profile.

Next we await contracts for towing and supply vessels + suitable sea conditions for rig mobilisation.

If Ensco72 is due to leave on the 11th then we should get an RNS tomorrow stating final permit has been approved to drill Both Wick and Colter.

Things moving ahead for Wick, just what santa ordered.

The long anticipated Colter will not be far behind no doubt.

iLeeman yes I agree. A few years ago I read a very good article about placings, stored somewhere. Not straightforwards at all and a colossally good earner for the finance companies.

No shorts here (or sub threshold), there is some risk obviously but we are not seeing fair value at all imo. Still if I get the time will ask a few questions next week.

atb GoM

Isn’t BOIL cheap at the moment? Really can’t see many positives in UPL apart from their, for the moment, virtual interests extrinsic to the UK. Insufficient funds remaining after Wick (unless I have botched my arithmetic again). Still Boil is a two trick pony now, different breeds of ponies though. Neeiiigghhhhh etc etc.

I do not think this is being shorted because why would you short into multiple transformational appraisal drills, key word being appraisal but it makes sense why shareprice has trending sideways because a fairly large seller left the building, no point going into why as people have many reasons.

Share price should be much higher but the same could be said for 99% of AIM companies at the moment, the wider market is still correcting but that should rebound soon imo.

Good companies do shine in this environment but market wants to see solid news and solid value appreciation and the only way we get that is by drill success...Monroe is our first large drill and the first of many.

The West Newton gas discovery is on-trend with the prolific Hewett gasfield complex which had Original Gas in Place of 419 Bcf. Regionally, West Newton and Hewett are located in the Southern Permian Basin which contains approximately 24 Tcf of gas and 250 MMbbls of oil combined in production areas in Poland, Germany and the Netherlands.

The West Newton conventional appraisal well is defined from 3 Component 3D seismic. The West Newton conventional appraisal well is planned to be drilled in Q1 2019.

The West Newton A-1 gas discovery well was drilled and logged in 2014. Best Estimate Contingent resources are 189 Bcf of gas equivalent ("Bcfe") or 31.5 million barrels of oil equivalent ("boe") (gross). Reflecting its status as an existing gas discovery, the West Newton conventional appraisal well has a combined geological and commercial Probability of Success of 60%.

The Operator's estimated unrisked project economic evaluation indicates NPV10% before tax of US$247 million or $7.84 per boe and yields a 52.5% rate of return.

Cadeby Reef Oil and Other Prospects

The Operator has identified a significant oil exploration target in the Cadeby Reef formation located below the existing discovered gas Contingent Resources. As part of the proposed West Newton appraisal well, the Cadeby Reef oil exploration target will also be drilled as a secondary target. The Cadeby Reef has Best Estimate Prospective Resources of 79.1 million boe (gross). The Cadeby Reef oil prospect has an estimated geological Chance of Success of 26%.

The Operator's estimated unrisked project economic evaluation indicates NPV10% before tax of US$850 million or US$10.75 per boe and yields a 104.8% rate of return.

In addition, the Operator has also mapped a number of additional attractive prospects and leads on the licence that would add to the significant Prospective Resources mentioned previously.

Deloitte CPR

A Competent Person's Report dated 25 July 2017 was prepared for Connaught by Deloitte LLP, an independent petroleum engineering firm, that conforms to SPE-PRMS guidelines ("Deloitte CPR"). The Deloitte CPR incorporates data from a proprietary three component 3D seismic survey, acquired in 2014 following the drilling of the West Newton discovery well, and Deloitte has assigned Contingent Resources to the West Newton discovery.

In this announcement, all volumetric data disclosed under the Contingent Resource and Prospective Resource categories in relation to the West Newton gas discovery and PEDL183 have all been sourced from the Deloitte CPR.

Proposed West Newton Appraisal Well

The proposed West Newton appraisal well will involve conventional drilling to appraise the West Newton A-1 gas discovery within a Permian age Carbonate reservoir and a deeper secondary oil target and, for clarity, the operations at the site will not either now or in the future involve the process of hydraulic "fracking" for shale gas or shale-oil.

iLeeman thanks for that, I saw the trade on the list. A few days ago I posted that I thought RBD was being ‘sat on’, posting a Q about the short tracker. Should have checked it myself however received a quite rude and somewhat passive aggressive little tweet on here! There is no rational reason for the poor mcap given the imminent ramp up of companies that RBD has an interest in.

Well it was a good call, might be a good learning point to go back a week and try and deduce what evidence there may have been for that trade before it happened.

Your opinion is very important to us, lol.
But remember you need to move another 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 shares from the last two placing.
One a .6p...
Good luck with that.
News late again?
Another placing coming?
Or just no interest at all?
