01/7/2014 21:34 | No, it demonstrates that Northland thinks the company is undervalued, the rest of the market thinks otherwise. YMMV. | gbb483
01/7/2014 15:36 | Rame, has built a business as a global supplier of cost effective power generation solutions to blue chip clients such as Akzo Nobel, Anglo American, Barrick Gold and BHP Billiton. Largely through this it has been involved in the development of 23% of Chile's installed wind power capacity and having pioneered the development of wind projects in Chile, Rame is using its expertise to become an Independent Power Provider in a country where energy supply struggles to meet demand. Since listing in April 2014, Rame has hit important key milestones, which have already transformed the future prospects including the signing of a US$69m equity financing agreement with Santander for its next four wind farm projects in Chile which have a combined capacity of 118MW. Having already secured funding for its first two projects due to become operational at the end of 2014 under the same terms, the Company is now fully funded for wind farms with a capacity of 132 MW. Providing visibility to future earnings, PPAs have also been signed for its first two projects and the Company has strong relationships with blue chips to secure further agreements for its entire portfolio. These milestones have helped de-risk the Company's plans to have 300MW of capacity up and running in Latin America within three years. Finally, the Company bolstered its power solutions business through the acquisition of the UK's longest established solar designer and installation company. This division provides another important area for growth for Rame and will continue to be a focus of the Company in tandem with its IPP strategy. The Company listed at 18p in April 2014 and Northland has initiated coverage with a 31p price target. Despite hitting these excellent milestones, the Company is currently trading at 14.8p, demonstrating the undervalued nature of the stock. | landrews3
01/7/2014 11:00 | Well done for setting this thread up. Not much market interest in RAME at present, even after reasonable news flow. Not sure I see much happening with the share price in the near term. "T" | t-raider |
