17/9/2003 14:36 | Just had myself a couple of thousand of these. Results Oct 9th. Company has said it sees results ahead of market expectations - those expectations are £1.35m and 18.24p eps. At a price of 218p today I reckon I've bought some stunning growth on a PE of less than 12. There was a lot of excitement at the trading statement and since then the traders and the bored have left and the price has drifted. Expecting those that have this on the radar to start buying soon before the results. Nice thread too - nobody has posted for 2 months - suggests there's little hype in the price to me. 09/7/2003 00:27 | MMs (there's only two, so a move by one of them will always change the price) pushing up the price on every 1k buy. Now up 82% since the turn of the year. Edit: Noticeable that the price didn't get moved down just as easily on a sell. | m.t.glass
08/7/2003 11:29 | RNS Number:2833N Quadnetics Group PLC 08 July 2003 Trading Statement Quadnetics Group plc, a leader in the design, integration and control of advanced CCTV and networked video systems, is providing the following trading update as it goes into its closed period. Having reviewed the draft unaudited management accounts for the financial year recently ended, the Board believes that the Group's profits for the year will be in excess of current market expectations. The Board expects that the Group's consolidated profit before tax for the year to 31 May 2003 will not be less than #1.35 million on sales of approximately #20 million. A full preliminary announcement of results will be made as usual in September. Peter Rae, Chairman, said: "As anticipated at the time of our interim results, the Group has continued to benefit from strong growth in both sales and margins, especially in the area of large-scale digital CCTV security systems. A number of important product development issues were successfully resolved during the year, and we have growing confidence that Quadnetics' digital video network and control products, and systems integration solutions, are at the technical forefront of a rapidly evolving industry. A significant factor in our growth plans is the rate of adoption of our new patent pending Time Lapse Later (TLL) powered digital CCTV recording systems, which initially store images from all cameras in high quality broadcast format, then progressively time-lapse for long term archive in order to reduce overall storage requirements and cost. Although it is too early to predict the outcome, a good pipeline of existing and potential new business continues to give the Group real momentum into the current year. Subject to the obvious caveats, we do expect further progress in results." 8 July 2003 For further information please contact: Quadnetics Group Russ Singleton (Chief Executive) 01527 850 080 e-mail: r.singleton@quadneti Brewin Dolphin Securities Neil Baldwin 0113 241 0130 Media enquiries: Bankside Tel: +44 (0) 20 7444 4140 Julian Bosdet / Peter Curtain e-mail: peter.curtain@banksi | m.t.glass

23/1/2003 09:23 | Marked up by 7.30% to 147.50p on little or no volume. Capital Adjustment to be confirmed during March 2003 LONDON (AFX) - Quadnetics Group PLC said it proposes a reduction of its share premium account to enable it to pay dividends. The group, which develops, designs, integrates and controls advanced CCTV and networked video systems, also said it proposes to cancel both its Capital Redemption Reserve and its unissued deferred shares. At May 31 2002, the company had accumulated losses on its profit and loss account of approximately 8.2 mln stg, which arose principally on disposals of investments in subsidiaries during the last decade. Given the substantial size of the losses there is, in the opinion of the board, no reasonable prospect of their being eliminated in the short term and it has therefore put forward today's proposals. If this proposed reduction in the share premium account is approved by shareholders, it will have to be confirmed by the Court before it can become effective. It is anticipated that confirmation will be obtained from the Court at the beginning of March 2003. newsdesk@afxnews.com slm/ | maywillow

16/1/2003 18:43 | This thread is now superseded by: This is a tiny Company but is going places ! It's in the same business as the much-hyped IndigoVision but has performed far better. The Co has a partnership with IBM, under which it provides digital recording systems for IBM's back-end storage systems - a huge market especially because storage trends are moving away from analogue to digital. Quadnetics' order book has increased almost 3-fold over the last year, and a lot of news is expected very soon. | mangal |
