03/1/2013 08:22 | In the Market report column by Gary Parkinson in Tuesdays Times, there is a fairly lengthy piece on PDX and it's past woes. The final comment reads. "Backers hope that the financial stability afforded to PDX will enable the cpmpany, finally, to demonstarate that there is a commercial market for it's undoubtedly clever technology" Something positive - at last. Perhaps a glimmer of hope for 2013. | getting started
02/1/2013 17:10 | maybe the fat lady has not yet sung after all Happy New Year btw those results at the japanese food producer were more or less replicated at p and g - why some people including the board of pdx were amazed that the deal did not happen hard to see how major co's like p and g can ignore savings like that | denc
02/1/2013 16:55 | milligut, Good points. This sale is a legacy sale that was made some time ago (by Pursuit Processing Equipment I believe which should date it roughly to the 2007-9 timeframe I think) and therefore will have nil impact on this year's figures. What is different is the detail on the release - 2.1 million litres of milk and 300 tonnes of flour saved annually at today's prices would on their own (with no consideration for CIP chemical cost reductions, factory space or energy savings) cost in the region of £850K+. I do not believe that specific savings figures like these have been released in the past. As to whether the funds raised are sufficient to reach break even, your guess is as good as mine (and probably anyone else's) - the future is an uncertain place and many, many other companies with "undoubtedly clever technology" have fallen by the wayside - often spectacularly and in less troubled times than we are seeing currently - capital goods sales may start to come to the fore - but when? What PDX needs is not ebullient board statements, it's revenue build. IOTS DYOR | maca1212
02/1/2013 12:46 | There are a few other companies on AIM whose technologies have been classed as too good to be true...ie QFI. | cezary
02/1/2013 12:05 | Happy new year to all, I notice that the website continues to evolve (albeit painfully slowly) the case studies that are now starting to appear at least seem to make the economic justification for the technology more clearly, rather than simply ranting about speed of production, the japanese implementation is particularly impressive (from the production stats at least): IOTS DYOR | maca1212
02/1/2013 11:41 | thanks mulligut. I see company in worst condition than this that they are over valued in terms of share price i thought that the increase in revenue from previous six month statement and good cash position would be able to justify a better share price I will keep it under the radar.. lets see where it goes | cascudi
02/1/2013 10:05 | Cascudi this company could do with some optimism and revenue but they are burning 400k per month in cash and their last financial report excludes the 200 million shares that have just been issued to get them survival cash. The problem is that successive management can't seem to convert this "undoubtedly clever technology" into revenue that justifies a higher share price. | mulligut
02/1/2013 10:01 | Like always this share will be played by the Market. But from this entry point the short brigade cant drop it much further. | mikeran
02/1/2013 09:33 | may be I missing something but looking last finance report. this company has a net current asset per share of 9p that is 3 times current share price. if the future in term of revenue will be clearer it should be a good company to invest? | cascudi
02/1/2013 08:41 | PDX this may be why and certainly has helped share price today and hopefully beyond. 01/1/2013 20:52 | Happy new year! Any thoughts on that apparent sauce production success? At the very least it seems to be a very practical and tangible demonstration of how the technology can be used? | sageofnowhere

31/12/2012 10:25 | Good job you dump stocks while you are ramping them Topinfo or 2012 would have been the year you were wiped out, saw you ramping this one at 5 times the current price earlier this year, just noticed Ecr at 0.25p bid, 2012 a year where you should hang your head in shame at what you have wrote to pump and dump so many stocks before huge drops in their shareprices ! | 34simon

31/12/2012 10:12 | I noticed on the PDX site 2 announcements were made on 27.12.12, unfortunately the link does not seem to work for me. Could someone please C&P the info for me, thanks in anticipation. The best of luck for the new year - next year Rodders - I can feel it in me water lol! | swiss paul
29/12/2012 01:01 | I feel some of these companies of which this is one of the worst, has come to represent the worst of the AIM outfit and the very shame of the British entrepreneurial skills. The option is a shameless disgrace from those who have just wiped out their investors. Something needs to change in the system. Otherwise, our country will become the quagmire of investors and perceived as a den of rouges - or is it not already is? | daniel
22/12/2012 21:46 | News items page on PDX website as now listed is providing a useful reference. | wrey
22/12/2012 14:35 | Excellent we only have to wait 4 years to get results that should deliver those big returns we are waiting for. Now at 400k per month for 4 years with sales that just about cover the cost of the offices, that should mean we will only be diluted by 1 billion shares. Amazed the share price dropped on such fabulous news. Hard not to be cynical. | mulligut |
