16/8/2017 13:40 | Out for an hour and just back - looks like my earlier decision was the right one - for now :-) | puzzler2
16/8/2017 12:41 | Puzzler, I think you're right. I'm in again at 448.00 yesterday, support at 444.00ish, pivot point, has gone, trend line channel comprehensively broken and a potentially damaging exposes to come.... 417.00 remains a critical support for me. Cheers | pediment
16/8/2017 11:56 | Re-opened my short today from 439p - FTSE up 0.6%, but little buying interest here. Won't hesitate to close if I'm wrong. | puzzler2
16/8/2017 10:53 | I know it may not seem it from the large low volume intraday movements but there is selling pressure here. Book is skewed to the bid due to trailing stop orders that never get hit making things look like a buying opportunity. I don't think it is. Regards | pediment
15/8/2017 17:09 | Thanks Tedrux. Personally I like agents and at 1% comm or perhaps even 0.75% they are good value. Yes they are less important at the lower end but that is where the comm is actually not much more than Purp anyway. FWIW ie nothing I think Purp may range in the 400-500 until there is more news. Really don't know how it will pan out long term it depends how the bigger agents react I think. | ltcm1
15/8/2017 15:55 | Rog, for once we are in agreement, although I sense the bullish trend may be over, for now at least. | andy
15/8/2017 14:26 | Itcm1,Yes the Amazon story is great. Especially when Bezos is asked about it and he just smirks. I really envy that. It defies traditional logic though but that's the skill of it. I like your parallel here. I don't care much for agents tbh. They're not required especially on low end mass market for sure. How do you see PURP? I'm out at the moment as can't be doing with the ups and downs. | tedrux
15/8/2017 13:29 | Good points rog. You can even argue low volume will help Purp because other agents will become distressed and purp won't have to spend so much gaining market share if others drop out. Purp can go on gouging the market place for a good while yet and as long as numbers aren't a disaster they can go on spinning the story of future profits. Look how long Amazon have done it! | ltcm1
15/8/2017 13:05 | as I said a few days ago Andy you would have to be brave or a fool to buy or sell at the moment TW advised yesterday that PURP was a sell, when the price was c. 410p which kind of makes my point about fools he has been saying that the property market was about to collapse for the last four years one day he will be right! but hardly 'guru' material and even if the market cools, we don't yet know whether PURP will suffer or benefit from that turnover in the housing market has been very low for a long time already, and turnover volume is how agents make their profits a cheap hybrid agent might possibly benefit from a cooling market we don't know yet if TW is right about the market already falling, no signs yet of it hitting PURP? | rogthepodge
15/8/2017 12:38 | Well it looks right on the trendline at the moment, so the next move will be interesting. It bounces around so much intraday. | andy
15/8/2017 10:27 | £4 by when trt?! Dont think anyone can predict this right now! 10% up and down in 2 days suggests you could be well off the mark | ojh2kent
15/8/2017 08:39 | Have to say can see the share price falling below £4 at this rate !! | trt
14/8/2017 20:42 | Me too puzzler, but I mostly day trade anyway. I like to sleep at night. Astonishing recovery today was almost tempted to go long. I'll be selling bits an bobs on the way up tomorrow or Wednesday. Articles on the way from Shareprofs btw | pediment
14/8/2017 20:22 | Closed my short earlier today (in profit) once the mood had changed. Happy to let the share price ride high and start the process again. | puzzler2
14/8/2017 19:36 | ted, I agree, I thought I had missed my chance here but the end of day surge suggests there might be an opportunity yet. This really is a feisty share! | andy
14/8/2017 16:51 | Odd stock. Why is it all over the shop within one day? | tedrux
14/8/2017 16:20 | rackers if you weren't filtered Elcapo would doubtless deliver his usual four letter rebuke :). | ltcm1
14/8/2017 16:04 | Stronger rally than I thought, filled the gap | pediment
14/8/2017 15:31 | ltcm114 Aug '17 - 10:53 - 1761 of 1766 0 0 Take profits now Elcap??? elcap doesn't have any profits | rogthepodge
14/8/2017 14:40 | pediment,and as if by magic.£4.315 mid...good forcasting | abergele
14/8/2017 13:41 | Umm, i wouldnt take any figures released from pb to worth much . They seem to count warnings from regulators as badges of honour. All that tv advertising and they only have 5% share... that means 95% of market can smell a rat. | boofay
14/8/2017 12:08 | NY, back to 430.00ish over lunch then dropping again? Almost certainly going to go into oversold on the daily RSI later this week. | pediment
14/8/2017 11:44 | No ..just dead cat bounces, sucking in mug punters each time, 100-250p is a realistic level, until they can prove themselves over a sustained period of trading. | ny boy |
