25/6/2017 11:20 | but where numb nuts lives, you can buy a whole street of houses for £10k I think, as was his comparison to Rightmove, numb nuts isnt understanding. I think he thinks we are saying that it is bust, and none of us are. What we are saying is that it is grossly overvalued at these levels. | lydnem
25/6/2017 10:23 | I saw another PB board yesterday, but they're certainly still scarce in my neck of the woods. I was on the tube last week and a company is advertising on the trains offering to sell your house for £99 with no commission! | andy
25/6/2017 09:43 | Theyre not selling it, theyre just uploading to the portals. Everyone can do this, even the £300 companies ...and there are lots of them | lydnem
23/6/2017 13:08 | their boards are everywhere where I live, and I know someone who sold in two weeks with PB. They said it was a walk in the park, and they got top dollar. It seems to have momentum. | rogthepodge
23/6/2017 10:39 | Strange decision for the directors to sell so many shares in the IPO. They couldnt have thought this much of their chances! | lydnem
23/6/2017 09:49 | Great to see lots more purple bricks boards going up in Manchester/Cheshire in the last few weeks. Will be interesting to see results next week.. | emmash
21/6/2017 13:48 | like NLG muppet chops ? | rackers1
21/6/2017 13:39 | but numb nuts thinks its good when the chart shows a price going down! | lydnem
21/6/2017 12:49 | rog, The ADVFN charts are all over the place today, the chart above has changed since earlier, as have other company charts. They are having data feed problems with the LSE. The quotes a re correct, so anyone seeing the now replaced earlier chart would have seen a falling price. | andy
21/6/2017 10:16 | The new downtrend continues | buywell3
20/6/2017 17:42 | Buywell, how's that RHS, looking on to me and the falling three, tasty. | pediment
20/6/2017 16:53 | Well, that's that dead cat bounce over, strong bearish falling three methods forming, more sellers than buyers in auction, low volume possibly (can't really tell as LSEG are useless, incomplete data for two bloody days) and a move south again in the next couple of days. Cheers all | pediment
20/6/2017 14:49 | Oh dear numb nuts. There is no comparison between rightmove and purple bricks. You should not post, it makes you look stupid.............. | lydnem
20/6/2017 14:48 | PURP is backed by Neil Woodford and enthusiastic institutions........ short it if you like lampran no skin off my nose | rogthepodge
20/6/2017 14:23 | Rightmove was backed by Halifax, Countrywide plc, Royal & Sun Alliance, & Connells, it wasn't one of many, it was totally new and unique. Zoopla came after OnTheMarket was a last ditch attempt by many smaller agencies to compete, and it failed. PURP isn't comparable. | lampran
20/6/2017 14:21 | You dont understand the point you were making! | lydnem
20/6/2017 13:59 | derrrr! I have never said that Rightmove is an estate agent! or that Lovefilm was an estate agent if you can't understand the point I was making, I feel sorry for you | rogthepodge
20/6/2017 12:55 | rightmove is a property portal. Agents pay to put their properties on there and probably about 80% of all leads come from these portals. They are not an estate agent. | lydnem
20/6/2017 12:49 | Rightmove initially was one of many competing online property portals. It won out by marketing and therefore became the 'go to' brand. PURP needs to acheieve critical mass quickly enough, so that it grows standing alone, or gets taken over by a big online player, which wants its brand name and customers. e.g. Lovefilm was bought by Netflix. I agree that there is a risk, but so far, so good. It seems to be storming ahead of its competitors. | rogthepodge
20/6/2017 12:29 | Rightmove was a disruptor, Purplebricks is an online estate agent. | lampran
20/6/2017 12:22 | the same could have been said about Rightmove, lampran | rogthepodge
20/6/2017 07:55 | rog - youre being very unfair on muppets lol | rackers1 |
