11/12/2019 07:20 | worth a read Rog, PURP is being Called a duff recovery stock. Losses are predicted To be reported AGAIN in tomorrow’s results. Still in cloud cuckoo land thinking this stock will get you out of hot water? It’s the shareholders who appear to be being screwed over here.... where’s your dividend payment ? Oh you’ve not got one. At least you’ll have gimmick Alexa to talk to about Purplebricks when it all goes per shaped. You won’t want to come here when many posters are repeating the words ‘I told you so’ | 1giraffetrader
10/12/2019 22:27 | Purplebricks farms out its customer service to Alexa - article in The Negotiator Magazine - Nigel Lewis reporting. 'Purplebricks has revealed that from today onwards vendors will be able to use Amazon’s Alexa digital voice assistant to manage many aspects of their property’s sale. This includes playing back messages from their Purplebricks LPE, managing their viewings and finding out how many people have viewed their home and how many offers of interest have been made. Purplebricks claims that a survey of its customer base recently revealed that nearly two thirds of its vendors would prefer to be updated electronically rather than via a phone call or face-to-face meeting, and that approximately 50% want regular daily updates on their home sale. This, the company claims, is why it decided to add an Alexa capability to its system. Its Chief Marketing Officer Ed Hughes says: “It keeps our customers in constant touch and frees up our property experts to get on with selling houses”. In comments to a national newspaper, North London estate agent Trevor Abrahamson of Glentree International (left) said that: “It’s a great marketing gimmick, but I don’t believe you will get an intelligent response. “If Alexa says there are no viewings, for instance, you might think your property is unsellable. But there might be a good reason — it might be half-term. “The problem with online agents is the lack of human contact. Are you really going to hand sale of your largest asset to an online agent?”. Purplebricks is not the only agent to embrace Alexa. In April this year Hunters began using the digital voice assistant to generate valuation leads via the service'. -------------------- Stantini's thoughts are - Will Alexa also be giving her thoughts on the financials that Purplebricks are about to release in the next few days? Which some cynics would say was timed to be buried amid election mayhem. What is a real shame is that this company has taken the human element out of the real estate process, and replaced it with a ‘turnip’ much like the solutions found in Black Adder, by the master of strategy Baldrick. Why do the c-suite at the mighty purplebricks including Vic, not reach out to the real solution solvers? A quick call to Eddie Holmes Co-founder at Unissu, would certainly get a better fit as a proptech solution, than Alexa or a turnip. So, Vic my advice, before those quickly disappearing millions are all burnt through, make that call and get some proper, free procurement advice on how best to solve your mounting problems. If you need Unissu’s number I am sure Alexa knows… | stantini

09/12/2019 14:00 | the debate here is not worthy of participation. toodaloo | rogthepodge
09/12/2019 11:31 | On the 12th many folks will not be at work and press coverage on 13th in the financial pages as well as the mainstream press will all be election related. The 12th is clearly going to be a good day to bury bad news so expect a raft of 5PM profits warnings. But to actually plan to release results on the 12th really does reek of desperation. If you have good news surely the numbers can wait a few days to after the weekend. Only if you really do not want folks looking at your results and you do not want any press coverage would you plan to release on the 12th. Yet that is exactly what Versarien (VRS) and Purplebricks (PURP), old faves of this column plan to do. Both companies are already drowning in red flags and clearly monstrously overvalued. Both have just hoisted another red flag. | bbmsionlypostafter
09/12/2019 09:21 | On the slide again this morning, let's see if £1 can hold if it touches that level. | andy
09/12/2019 07:51 | Wow rog you still really believe that this stock is your ticket to financial freedom don’t you ? | 1giraffetrader
07/12/2019 15:04 | yes right! investment analysts won't bother to read the figures, because it's election day. Muppet. | rogthepodge
07/12/2019 14:12 | hung parliament.....again | fxprotrader
07/12/2019 12:46 | I think both have miscalculated as there won't be much real news on the election until the next day. Both accounts will be fully analysed and exposed well before then. | sweet karolina2
03/12/2019 17:19 | I think theyre waiting to buy the rest as cheap as possible. They will need to get dispensation from the stock ex to bid lower than they've bought though I cant remember the numbers, but i thought cash ran out as previous burn at the end of the year, although I presume theyve cut the losses now apart from one offs for the closures. Cant be far off though, and they wont leave it until the last ninute | fxprotrader
03/12/2019 13:12 | FX, I expect poor results but not a fundraise, I think that's too early, but they'll need one next year I would imagine. As Axel did not take the Woodford block of stock, I doubt they are going to do a takeover personally. | andy
03/12/2019 10:32 | PURP Interims TBA on 12.12.19, UK election day. Pie in the sky jam tomorrow specialist with cult following Versarien(VRS) also announcing on election day. Both companies picked this date AFTER the election date was announced. A good day to bury bad news? | bbmsionlypostafter
03/12/2019 10:18 | Its d day next week when the results are out It must be pretty low on cash now so I expect it to be accompanied by a fundraise of some sort or a takeover by axel at between 50-100p as a way of hiding their losses. | fxprotrader

03/12/2019 07:29 | With the wrong result on the 12th the market (especially the 'aspirational' sector) will continue to be static at best. Distinct possibility of falls in values if the looney left are in. | philosopherad1
01/12/2019 23:01 | Time is running out. Holders of this share should sell now and not wait for the results on Dec. 12th. | meanwhile
01/12/2019 19:12 | I’ve been met with silence which can only mean that Rog has not been able to rise to the challenge, the fact that he has said nothing actually speaks volumes in itself, nothing bullish to say about PURP. A guy on LSE has been monitoring new sales listings coming to the market, according to his proxy, PURP are down year on year by over 16%! | 1giraffetrader
01/12/2019 08:41 | lol. Surely not! | fxprotrader
28/11/2019 12:49 | Some fair points made Stantini. I’d be interested to see if any bulls can respond to you with a logical and well reasoned counter-argument. Rog, the stage is yours | 1giraffetrader |
