I didnt get back into this the other day, but did consider it. i was thinking why state ebitda rather than profits, EG still a net loss? the cash position kind of backs that up. having made a narrow escape from this before with a tiny loss i wasnt keen to get back into it without this being "cheap" on some metrics,as it seems a reasonably run company if slightly slow to make things happen.

I own a fee of these and crrently am at a small loss
Two questions: Major is if the $14m capex sale is a one off; note that they are moving away from this type of business and certainly in 2-12 did not make a sale aproaching this size. Second is the effect of the change in accounting treatment and I guess we will need to wait till we get full financials.
Good to see record turnover in H2 13 of $30m though of course distorted by capex sale; this would have accounted for increase of ebitda between the to halves from 0.5m to $2.5m
Somewhat disappointed in the decrease in cash from $4.1m to $3.4m-a decrease bigger than taking working capital cash movement and investing cash movements in the 2 previous half years.
For now holding with what I have perhaps more in hope than in expectaion

This trading update has come sooner than I expected. The change of strategy to one that will generate a higher proportion of recurring revenues is welcome. We can expect a greater contribution to profit from the expanding wound care segment with higher margins also. The commercialisation of Activita would be a welcome bonus. Good luck all.

'Revenue and EBITDA above market expectations

EBITDA significantly increased to $2.5 million (2012: $1.3 million), which was above market expectations.

resulting primarily from significant growth in the Supermarket Retail business

Cash and cash equivalents were $3.4 million as at 31 December 2013'

Looking good 8-)

£450k was at 45p

And of course Directors need above circa 48.5p (mid?) after the FY results to get anything from their all or nothing incentive scheme!

I expect a flurry of news before/immediately after results - don't ask me why!

Today's buying may reflect an article from stock o pedia with its small cap value report released today. It includes NXR, PURI and PRES.

They highlight the recent £450k director buy suggesting an indicator of good things in the pipeline.

Added on the bell - already holding quite a few!

Today's announcement not that significant in the short term - longer term? but with the price close to what appears to be the floor it warranted a small top up.

Usually get a Trading update in Feb or early March

Had my eye on this since the interim statement and able to take my first small position today.

+
Strong cash position
Strong revenue growth
Improving GP margins
EBITDA profitable
Core market leader
Tie in with US supermarkets
Pull back after strong rise
Five year trend

My small purchase, and then the price ticks up. Bodes well?

IMO DYOR

Small buy - just my sense of humour!

Like many "off radar" stocks with few trades - the price doesn't always reflect value. The accounts are a little confusing, treacle and wading, springs to mind (even for me as an accountant) with the discounted loan note conversion in 1H. Bound to put people off as it distorts the real picture.

Anyway if nothing else we have brought the board back to life - see you in Feb or March for another chat!

That's no small buy! For a stock with this mkt cap, well not in my book, i was highly encouraged at the time ;-)

Melo - I assume you mean the Director/PDMR VCP - but they need to hit 48.5p after results to see anything and a further 20% rise (compounded) in the share price in the following two years. So as it stands they will get nothing - it's pretty generous so I assume they are grafting hard for a raft of good news in the run up to finals so they hit the shareprice targets.

fwiw the last Director trade was a small buy in November 1m at 45p so he is currently down £45k in a couple of months.

Off the radar - no rush - I'm happy to hold (indeed added at 45p recently - a litle early with hindsight!) as balance sheet now sorted and some large supermarket contracts just about to kick in.
