If JIC are not providing the funding directly or indirectly, then what is the point of them being in the consortium?

DruidThe RNS doesn't explain who is funding APEC. Not do we know who owns it.They have a strategic relationship with JIC but it doesn't say that they are bankrolling them.

Billcn, funds were due to be lodged in PVR's Bank today. So 7am RNS tomorrow. Only waiting on survey permission and then we drive on.

Pap, this is why I get annoyed at some of your unfounded comments such as the funder being unable to raise the cash. The information isn't difficult to find. All the details you need about the funder are in the original FOA RNS:

JIC themselves are a subsidiary of state owned China Investment Corporation who have US$810 assets under management. If the cash doesn't get paid it is not because the consortium can't raise it, it would simply be that they don't want to pay it.

Urraca poses an interesting question on the lse PVR bb when he wonders who APEC's funder is? tidd83 replies that the answer "is in the RNS" (which RNS?) and further states APEC's "funder is Chinese state owned JIC".

Can anybody confirm tidd83's statement by quoting from an RNS? Only I can't.

Cagney I apologise if I offended you and others if you thought I was being vulgar. KMA in your opinion is not vulgar.

Abu, politics aside I also find your language quite vulgar. Is this meant to be a fossil fuel bb?

Possibly. I actually think the granting of the site survey permission will see this rerate to a new range as the market will see it as confirmation that the 5-7 well drilling campaign is definitely going ahead.

Yes I guess there will be buying opportunities right up until the rig arrives in Q3. Will sit tight over the summer and pull the lever closer to the time

r950, you should ignore the fall from 8.5p as it was impossible to buy in quantity anywhere near the lows, in fact it wasn't until the share price was almost 10p that a decent amount of stock became available. It's almost as if last week's dip was engineered to put people off buying the subsequent rally by painting a low price on low volume making them think they've missed the boat when the price suddenly corrects upwards. Seem it many times before.
