papillon,

Insider trading is happening every day of the week but it is extremely difficult to bring to court as the lack of prosecutions prove.

Who said Furlong was 'insider' trading anyway?
The fact that he bought back before the Drombeg result would indicate to me that he believes it may not be a duster - he is taking the 5/1 gamble same as the rest of us who are still holding.

Pap,Furlong did exactly as you said. Like the rest of us he knows diddlysquat about how Drombeg is faring.

Furlong wouldn't have bought more PVR shares "5 days after Druid failed" if he had inside knowledge that Dromberg will be successful. That would be illegal insider trading! Did he not just buy back shares that he had previously sold pre the Druid result at a much higher price? Perhaps someone will post whether that is correct, or incorrect?

I've booked my first class ticket for tomorrow to see the Evian Gusher.Apparently this is subject to cancellation as there is a 20% chance of oil on the track.

I don't believe anyone is shorting PVR, hermana. It's just too dangerous; you could end up losing your shirt in just one day, even though the odds are still against a succesful outcome.

PS I suppose it's possible that someone in the "know" could short it if they knew the result to be a duster; similarly if they knew the well was successful they could go long.

No significant shorting by institutions here.
Perhaps the odd PI may have a spread bet but you can bet your bus fare home Furlong would be short if it was a duster. Instead he is a recent buyer which speaks volumes imo.

If drombeg is a failure, barryroe remains a key asset, and that will salvage PVR, along with its other licences.

This is why it is kind of a win win. I sold out because with Druid it was a 2-1 bet, not 50/50. This is currently black or red, but the house does not take all.

I started to think i missed out yesterday, but felt that the market makers were probably overloaded with 8 p stock, and they too cannot afford to be holding so much stock, for a 50/50 bet. They would lose heavily.

I hope drombeg comes in, even if i miss out, because it is also good for the prospects for Barryroe and further developments there.

I see opportunity either way, and would rather jump in here after the outcome is known, because there will still be money to be made.

Institutions holding on is a key thing imo.

If Drombeg is a failure, with confidence in BR wavering then it's possible PVR will be valued at below their cash.

Looking at PVR chart I'm going to stick my neck out, go on a limb, etc, etc. After the Dromberg well result RNS I'm going for an share price anywhere between 5p - 25p. LOL. How's that for a precision prediction? LOL

I reckon it's 4 to 1 ON the well is a duster, so I think 5p is more likely than 25p! bwtfdik? Very little is the answer! LOL.
