The tank was made of aluminium and because it's a soft metal it could absorb more hydrogen. I will keep looking over the internet and see if I can find further details. Regards. | tenapen | |
18/4/2020 11:24 | I know with natural gas vehicles apart from CNG (compressed natural gas) there was/is a development called ANG (adsorbed natural gas). ANG uses carbonised material (such as from coconut shells) to allow vastly more gas to be contained in a fixed volume cylinder at much lower pressure than CNG. The gas is adsorbed into the material matrix and packed effectively in a high density form. I'm sure something similar must be applicable to hydrogen too. | jpuff |
