13/6/2013 09:05 | jh, I'm surprised pmhl is even at this price. How stupid can the market be giving no valuation to the considerable property pmhl have. The day will come when Wong makes them eat humble pie. | celeritas
13/6/2013 08:52 | Surprised technically the market hasn't retested the strong resistance level at 77p for support. | john henry
13/6/2013 08:50 | Received from Company last week - 'As in previous years, we expect to release the Company's results for the fiscal year ended 31 March 2013 by the end of June, as soon as the auditors have completed their audit of our accounts.' | dr contrarian
13/6/2013 08:45 | Fully expected this month phil. | celeritas
13/6/2013 08:36 | Interesting - maybe Wong is selling on our stake to a bidder? All good news anyway. But when are we going to get a comprehensive update?? !! | philjeans
13/6/2013 08:34 | ACC has been very strong for the last month against some beaten up stocks in the cement sector. It's currently worth 94% of pmhl's mkt cap. | celeritas
13/6/2013 08:00 | Agree Doc up 5% against some stocks down 6% | john henry
13/6/2013 07:58 | Something is definitely brewing at ACC, heavy buying in last few minutes and into positive territory - against a miserable market background. | dr contrarian
11/6/2013 11:30 | It's being considered after the prelims. A roadshow is really about getting pmhl recognised by fund managers, meeting the boss can only help put to an end this ridiculous under valuation. Shanghai shut this week I believe until Thursday, hence the late update with property sales. | celeritas
11/6/2013 11:09 | Celeritas, any more details on the roadshow ? I expect any roadshow / Institutional presentation will occur towards the end of this month following the prelims. | dr contrarian
10/6/2013 14:52 | Dr, the roadshow idea went down well. I'm sure the up and coming results will do plenty of talking. We'll be put right up to date with properties sold and avg sales price, which should make investors take notice. Last 30 days 13 sets of transactions, average price of 42,125 yuan / square | celeritas
07/6/2013 14:43 | No exact details Dr, close period and all that. | celeritas
07/6/2013 14:42 | LA - :-) - I'd vote for any Non-Exec who places Shareholders interests further up the list priorities. | dr contrarian
07/6/2013 14:34 | They should make you a non-exec Doctor. | look alive
07/6/2013 14:23 | Good idea Celeritas, I understand they always do a presentation to the Instutitions in early July following the prelims, would be a good time for a roadshow. Good to hear they are working to have the Company's strengths and achievements regognised. Did they disclose anything about how they were going to achieve this ? - I think if they asked the shareholders we could come up with quite a few ideas :-) | dr contrarian
07/6/2013 14:06 | I've suggested an investor roadshow, similar to what wcc did back in the day, seemed to do wonders for that stock. Fund managers would like to see David Wong in person, sometimes the obvious needs pointing out. (that means the obvious to fund managers) Yes I agree, I've had no trouble with getting replies to emails. | celeritas
07/6/2013 14:01 | Celeritas - I have also noticed a marked improvement in shareholder communications recently. The chief corporate communications officer inparticular is keen to address shareholder concerns. One my concerns was the complete absence of broker coverage, despite the strong undervaluation story here, this is something they will be addressing soon. | dr contrarian
07/6/2013 12:35 | I have been reassured by pmhl that they are working to have the companies strengths and achievements recognised. Close period now but I'm expecting amazing results. | celeritas
07/6/2013 08:52 | Ed - Agreed, with so many of the assets not being properly valued, the Company has plenty of options to enhance shareholder value and the share price - - Special Dividend to shareholders from the proceeds of the TCC and Hangzhou disposals. - Re-start the share buy-back following the prelim results - Disposal of ACC and return of proceeds to shareholders - Special Dividend to shareholders after pre-sales of the development in Guangzhou are finalized and profits are booked. ... or perhaps the Chairman has his focus on a cheeky bid, pitched around the original flotation price (150p). | dr contrarian
06/6/2013 19:07 | If he wanted to, David Wong could make all his shareholders very happy - himself included - just by selling ACC and putting half the proceeds into a return of capital. TBH, that would still undervalue the company massively at the same share price, but there would be some serious rerating potential - what, a UK listed chinese company seriously rewarding shareholders? :-) Currently still a bit under water in capital terms, and I know some are by quite a lot. The current share price is not really fair to long term supporters of the company I feel... | edmundshaw
06/6/2013 11:34 | Nest east of shares (600,318): will benefit from the cement industry, the economy bottoming out 2013-06-06 Latest data showed last week Northeast high standard average cement prices rose 5.5 percent, of which, Heilongjiang and Jilin cement prices by 30 yuan per ton, the companies have announced price increase notice last week, the national average price of high-grade cement rose slightly 0.58%, reaching 348 yuan per ton, the industry expected future "Three North" in some areas of cement will be a significant improvement in corporate earnings, which is obviously a good sign. | dr contrarian
06/6/2013 08:14 | Dr, what size of special divi would shareholders receive if pmhl sell acc. They could nigh on return the current share price. | celeritas
06/6/2013 08:06 | ACC showing good stregnth in a tough market - PMHL's stake worth 77p per share | dr contrarian |
