The Property Franchise Group (TPFG) Full Year 2020 results overview. Profit before tax up 20% to £4.8m, operating margin 42% (19: 35%), cash £8.8m, dividend 8.7p (19: 2.6p). Here, Gareth Samples, CEO gives more detail, with an update on the Hunters acquisition, and he talks more about the strategic partnership announced with LSL (financial services) today.

Agree. Totally artificial price. Lots of (I guess) potential sellers from the Hunters purchase but not a buy quote anywhere o be found.

Share price here meaningless since there is no volume in the shares. Today one seller of 2,000 shares drove the share price down 4%. Thereafter no offer for the shares. I know because it was me!

The former Hunter's shareholders create a huge overhang of shares waiting to be sold. Unless TPFG's brokers can stir up interest in a placing of these shares the share price is only going one way. For the sake of all shareholders, I hope the Board is alive to this and use some strong full year results as a platform to bring aboard some long term and supportive shareholders.

Investor's Champion comments:

Sales valuations and listings, as well as Lettings' instructions and lettings, have started more slowly in 2021 than they did in 2020 when they experienced the confidence following the UK general election. However, the confirmation of the extension of the stamp duty holiday by the Chancellor in his March 2021 Budget and the intended easing of lockdown restrictions should both help to improve performance over the coming months.

Agree. Good north/south balance to the enlarged business which appears to have a large near guaranteed recurring revenue from an extensive property management portfolio. Will be disappointed if share price doesn't tick over 200p once the deal is completed.

Looks like a great buy to me with the UK economy about to re-open and a vibrant property market likely to follow. Hunters also seems to be a very carefully managed business-so high hopes for the combined entity.
