07/8/2018 08:26 | Pricing of new shares at 165p all financial engineering by Proactis, to give the illusion that the shares are worth more. | boonkoh
07/8/2018 08:13 | 35 first half? If so 29 second. Upsell improve though. Is there some information there on untouched account availability trend? Esize, very useful. Stumbled across them in past. Metrics for acquisition line up but certainly low hanging fruit of a few years ago are gone. | p1nkfish
07/8/2018 07:58 | Yes, 70 was the new deal target, but overall figures within target range. I look forward to a more detailed update on Weds 22nd August. | eagle eye
07/8/2018 07:54 | if acquisition is such a key part of growth plans wouldn't this need to be funded by equity raising?? Placing on the way?? | zipstuck
07/8/2018 07:34 | Nice "immediately earnings-enhancing" acquisition. And hopefully the trading update confirms that the rot has been stopped and trading has turned around. Revenues are down on Singer's forecast, and ner debt is up, but EBITDA is spot on expectations. Good to hear that deal intake was "strong" too. | rivaldo
07/8/2018 07:27 | 64 new deals. We're they targeting 70? | p1nkfish
07/8/2018 07:22 | Yeah ok, first thing in morning, not up to speed yet, lol, does pay to read stuff more than once. | owenski
07/8/2018 07:21 | Re-read it | pj0077
07/8/2018 07:18 | They're part funding by issuing shares @ 165 Currently PHD @ 108 Have I read that right | owenski
07/8/2018 07:13 | Acquisition and trading statement looks reasonable. | weatherman
03/8/2018 16:07 | Strategic equity fund, adding - good sign & good move today. | gargleblaster

02/8/2018 06:32 | Good luck to you PJ. As for Amazon and the trick pulled, please do study it and then think how that may be applied. A really interesting case study. We will see if Hemp can be creative in selling an idea to those wanting to be acquired by the only acquirer in the top gang of 5 & with substantial profitable growth prospects and undervalued on metrics peer-peer. Say no more, but I think you would find I'm certainly not short of a bob or two from investing. Please be lucky. | p1nkfish
01/8/2018 22:44 | P1inkfish"Look what Amazon have done"I might be wrong here, but I sense that you are new to investing. Good luck in whatever you do.PJ | pj0077
01/8/2018 21:12 | BTW PJ, look what Amazon have done with no profit but repeated backing by shareholders on accretative paper price per share. There's an example where they acquired shareholder support. I'm sure there are some buried in the annals of acquisitions by Google, Amazon and FB types. Through the looking glass era. | p1nkfish
01/8/2018 21:08 | How often is a company the only go to acquirer in a market where it is known there are those looking for an exit? Listen carefully to what he said vs the other 4 or 5 primary competitors in the market. If get chance will highlight how far in to listen carefully about the 2 yrs etc too. When someone wants out and there are few to get you out and they offer paper with capital gains potential the normal rules can change if the idea is SOLD properly. "In the last 150 years of recorded financial history, do you have any examples a company being able to acquire a target company 'on the cheap' by convincing the aquiree shareholders that it's shares were worth much more than they appeared to be, due to 'growth potential'?" | p1nkfish
01/8/2018 20:58 | Also, who is the financing partner/3rd party? | p1nkfish
01/8/2018 20:56 | Hamp also mentioned 4 board members have reasonable equity in the company. They + a couple of others could sell ideas and make them happen. When You are the "go to" acquirer expected processes and procedures change when a smaller player wants an exit for the owners. Acquisitions should be smaller then Perfect, for now at least. He also mentioned the 3 pillars and wanting to add travel etc. Wonder if there will be an RNS concerning the new head for supplier side financing? | p1nkfish
01/8/2018 20:13 | p1inkfishI'm intrigued. In the last 150 years of recorded financial history, do you have any examples a company being able to acquire a target company 'on the cheap' by convincing the aquiree shareholders that it's shares were worth much more than they appeared to be, due to 'growth potential'?Just a thought experiment.NB | pj0077
01/8/2018 18:34 | But what if they sell growth in share price as a future asset to a company that comes to them? According to the presentation, opportunities are coming to PHD. They are not chasing. It's a different dynamic to being an aggressive acquirer. Just a thought experiment. | p1nkfish
01/8/2018 17:05 | If the Proactis management start issuing Equity at £1/share or less, if will suggest either:* £1/share is all they believe the business is worth, or* organic growth has dried up & they are reliant on M/A to grow revenues.I don't believe the latter (having met Hamp Wall in June). I hope the management doesn't believe the former. | pj0077
01/8/2018 16:56 | Yep, dont disagree with you p1nkfish | owenski
01/8/2018 16:55 | Would be an insane strategy to do Equity financed acquisitions after halving of the share price.Would have to issue TWICE the amount of shares.. hugely dilutive | pj0077
01/8/2018 16:38 | Also, they want to maintain acquisition strategy. Lower $ than Perfect and not all paper based at this share price to help avoid excessive dilution. Potential targets are coming to PHD as one of the only games in town. Strangely, the lower share price might help if they can sell undervaluation to smaller targets management and that a very respectable increase is expected. They may not have to.issue massive quantities. The sell off low was 93p as a spike down on the news in April. Fascinating to see how this comes out as it looks like an attractive price to me. | p1nkfish |
