13/5/2012 09:34 | Lost me on that, "The review was considered by the company's board of directors, its independent audit committee and its external auditor. The BDO review was not accepted," said Prime Focus. "The company's external auditor, Shipleys, signed off the March 2010 accounts without qualification as to the issues raised by BDO," it added. Eros said its sole dealing with Bus Tales was a "financing arrangement with the producer of the film [Inter Group Services], not Prime Focus". The investment would have given Eros a percentage of the film's gross receipts. | ![]() tara7
18/4/2012 12:06 | "trusted" - you must be joking. I don't know anything about zoo media mentioned by gspanner but Honeybourne presided over the collapse of Dyson. The shares were delisted (while under suspension so holders had no opportunity to sell out) and then diluted by a debt for equity swap putting the banks in control and leaving the original holders with 13% of the enlarged equity. | ![]() sharw
17/4/2012 18:16 | This is very good news indeed No de listing, infact a new trusted team has been bought in, thus the city should now want to get a look in. | ![]() tara7
17/4/2012 15:30 | Somewhat worried by the association of Honeybourne with Zoo media...Hardly a roaring success, but I guess we have to give him the benifit of the doubt, since other that that quite experienced. Other chap looks like the go getter/brains behind the operation. We'll see | ![]() gspanner

05/3/2012 12:28 | fwiw bought in here with very modest start (booked as a sell). Remains undervalued, track record in place with multiple films, etc. How good is that animated 'go compare' advert? Dont get me wrong, bloody irritating, but great production. Might take a while to reach fair valuation, but in SIPP, so time not a problem. | ![]() gspanner
01/3/2012 15:46 | Make Bradford british channel 4 Channel 4's new major two part documentary series exploring what it means to be British airs tonight at 9pm. Made by Love Productions and posted at Prime Focus, the series uses the Government's Life in the UK Citizenship Test as a prism to explore British-ness, overcoming stereotypes and preconceptions to uncover the shared values and common ground in what it means to be British. Over 100 people from across Bradford sat the test. Eight of the individuals who fail are invited to live together in a microcosm of multicultural society. Can eight people from different worlds but the same city define what it means to be British in 2012? | ![]() tara7
26/2/2012 08:34 | Prime Focus contributed to X-Men First Class, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2, Transformers Dark Of The Moon and Hugo If you thought that India was missing out of the Oscars this time, you're mistaken. With the shortlist for the Visual Effects Oscar for the 84th Academy Awards announced, Prime Focus has contributed to five of the ten films that are in the running. The firm which specializes in visual entertainment services created complex VFX shots for Tree Of Life and X-Men: First Class, was the 3D conversion facility for Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2, completed the 3D conversion and delivered stereoscopic VFX shots for Transformers: Dark Of The Moon and supplied on-set equipment for Hugo. Prime Focus delivered the detailed sequences of realistic dinosaurs in Terrence Malick's The Tree Of Life. They also delivered stereoscopic 3D visual effects and converted 230 shots into 3D for Michael Bay's Transformers: Dark Of The Moon. Upon the completion of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2, director David Yates said, "Prime Focus delivered on every level and helped make our 3D conversion all that we could have hoped for and more." | ![]() tara7
13/2/2012 22:24 | I remembered a discussion along the lines of "I wanted to buy some shares but none were available" and "I could have let you have some". However, the posts have been deleted. Perhaps the trade was between market makers. | ![]() littleredrooster
13/2/2012 18:29 | littleredrooster - 13 Feb'12 - 10:26 - 294 of 294 Perhaps it was a private deal between not3baddad and Horndean Eagle. .................... To avoid speculation, I can confirm it wasn't. My investment in this is just £500. I edited out my post on the basis of being a little embarrassed at paying 30p, thus immediately seeing a 10% "loss" due to the spread. I *wish* I had £60K available to invest; alas not. | not3baddad
