                     ("Preston North End" or the "Company") 
 
                                  Loan Advance 
 
The Company today announces that a loan of GBP650,000 has been advanced to the 
Company by Deepdale PNE Holdings Limited ("DPNE").  This loan is not currently 
governed by a loan agreement and is therefore repayable on demand.  However, the 
Company has agreed with DPNE that the loan will attract interest at a rate of 8% 
above one month LIBOR.  The interest will be added to the outstanding debt. 
 
The loan will be used by the Company towards meeting the cost of player's and 
staff wages due this month and also payments to HMRC in respect of PAYE tax 
deductions and National Insurance.
