I'd like to see PPC increase its holding in ATOM, thus putting upward pressure on ATOM's share price, which in turn would put upward pressure on PPC's share price.

Wouldn't have to spend a lot.

Yes, PPC's "chunk" of ATOM is currently worth GBP9.8 million.

Pity the market hasn't cottoned on to this.

I didn't quite read you post properly and did not join the MRP gang when the dust of our departed galloping major had fully disappeared in the sunset at the time of Steve Gutteridge to be replaced by our current glorious leader - I was already firmly wedded. Chris that sounds like my story also and I may have bought some at over 50p but don't want to check!
I would have thought more IEC holders would have invested here but lucky for them.
Fingers and everything else crossed for a positive outcome and so PL it's up to you!

Super Y, I actually took a very small stake here just before PL came on board, 30p (don't laugh) was my first price, having done well on IEC and seeing PL get involved I thought history could repeat itself, I have taken more through various rights issues and also averaged down in the open market, far too many times to count, latest one, when it couldn't possibly go any lower was at around 2.4p... I sold the bulk of my Atome distribution as I needed to see some positive return. I continue to hold as they have eroded my investment that much, it just isn't worth selling now, on the off chance they do manage to get it right at least once. I now hold in complete hope as all positivity has been worn out over the past 15 or so years.

Looks like 6 of us left then. The Imperial journey ran a different course and didn't take as long but hopefully PL can turn this around for us all. It has been painful!!
