The type of investors that invest AIM shares are focused on 'penny stocks' and are normally looking for large/ life changing gains through capital growth. The rationale for a 200:1 consolidation does not make sense resulting in a tiny number of shares in circulation. It suggests that in the future the number of shares in issue will increase significantly to a normal range (eg. 50m - 100m shares). Why did they not consider a 10:1 consolidation for example? |

I'm tempted to buy at this ridiculously low price but you know, well PL is still here and will bring out his begging bowl again and fleece investors,imo. Seems like he has some sort of devious plan.😆BWTFDI |
Posted at 20/9/2022 22:44 by crimestoppers1 it is not a question of research. you have to trust the people you invest with. then and only then can you apply any research. in the case of PPC the trust was severally violated by PL and made all investors feel violated as well |

PPC went in too deep in Argentina and has failed to diversify its O & G business. The small exposure we had to international oil (USA production) prices has mostly been offline in the last 12 months. |

Dont you think this is important when you want to drill a hole in their country. Really! Also presenting at the Investors conference, yes as ATOM Chair but the networking is invaluable. |

Posted at 24/8/2022 13:11 by brasso3 The last communication on the subject (28th June) would be interpreted by myself that they expect a rig contract around 3 months from that date and that it will spud before the end of 2022 (most likely December).28th June 2022 RNS:- 'In Paraguay, work continues in preparation for spudding later this year. Our partner is fully compliant with its obligations and the main focus is not only agreeing with service segment providers costs and timing which is ongoing but finalising agreement with the rig contractor, who is undergoing an internal reorganisation. Whilst this is out of our hands as to timing, we are assured that we will be able to move forward with them in a concrete manner within the next three months which would still be in line with targeting commencement of drilling in the latter part of this year. I remind all actual or potential investors of the risks involved in exploration in such a context as we are in Paraguay and to measure expectations both as to timing and results accordingly' |
Posted at 22/8/2022 22:46 by brasso3 I do not think a secondary listing is required but if it were to happen an exchange (TSX) that has more commodity knowledgable investors would make more sense.The problem here is PPCs operational performance, poor communication, high debt and massive dilution. Why not focus on the problems rather than distractions? |
