09/10/2018 08:04 | Brent 85 dollars again !Sicknote | s34icknote
09/10/2018 07:30 | Well yesterday support was tested at 130 ish a it held . Which with an oversold RSI it would have surprised me if it didn't . The trend marked by the simple moving averages is up 200/100 and 50 so that is positive . I felt the selling in the mid 140s was inevitable and correct thing to do given the profit taking that technicians would have been doing . So in the scheme of things that is normal and PMO remains bullish with my end of year target of 190ish intact . My timing may be out a bit but feel it's heading there . With 85k barrels a day PMO net revenues are around $2m a day with Brent at $80 (84 ish as i type ) . So far ( early days ) this quarter is beating all quarters since q4 2014 . So retraces are to be bought into in my view . Let's see if right or wrong . Have a good day | onedb1
08/10/2018 19:41 | The corner has turned; anything over $75 a barrel is mega for PMO. But agree it all depends on a certain person and if he has drastically improved his managing skills and truly is the fear factor. But back to basics, oil up PMO up. | chopyead
08/10/2018 19:34 | You hope. Nobody can be certain as well you know. | investordave
08/10/2018 18:49 | What you smoking lol, sure sounds like good stuff | chopyead
08/10/2018 18:01 | Oil isnt going any higher and as pmo is a pure play on the poo this is going down back below 100p as the froth comes very quickly off the current lofty share price . | rbonnier
08/10/2018 15:18 | Oil bouncing back. Already back nearly to where it began the day. | husted
08/10/2018 13:08 | Let them sell then. Who cares. The long term trend is up. | investordave
08/10/2018 13:02 | All the Bulls in the pit have turned into angry bears theyre screaming 118 118 118 and sell !sell !! Sell !!! | rbonnier
08/10/2018 12:37 | I wouldn't hold out too much hope on the Noble/Edison joining team Sealion thing. There is a certain logic to it though. They've alreay sunk some cash into the area, but PL001 is second fiddle to Sealion, and their input could bring Sealion forward and then unlock the PL001 going forward. They could always pick that up again later down the line. The other Nobel/Edsion theory is that they might look at BOR and develop Darwin. | lageraemia
08/10/2018 12:15 | adg - you congratulated me in sept. but decide to mock me now. Yet you confess to not knowing the basics of hedging. i haven't said anything nasty nor made serious critiscms of the company, just trading the swings and offering more balance to this board. Generally i find the deramp camp are more worthwhile to listen to as they are more careful with their money and their emotions and less misleading with optimism and fantasy. Why does it annoy you that I suggest that i am not going to buy until its back nearer 120s? | ggm5d
08/10/2018 12:05 | Being discussed over at RKH.... Be ironic if Edison/Noble are joining us instead ;-) | oilretire
08/10/2018 11:24 | Brent heading downGas heading up !Sicknote | s34icknote
08/10/2018 10:47 | lol adg. Some people really do spout a lot of nonsense. Do they really believe their own hype? | investordave
08/10/2018 10:30 | You are amazing 😉 wow a true trader Ever thought of taking this lark up professionally? I have £300k for you to get those returns for me too..... you can have 25% of annualised profit no problem Tell me where to sign up superduper-trade- meister | adg
08/10/2018 10:24 | Firstly i don't short i trade my isa. Secondly i sold at 141 on thursday and posted it was going down then. 3rd its not4-5% this has been going up and down like a yoyo since May and been make 10-20% returns every few weeks. Ok some months just 10% ;).compounded its really quite a lot and i don't experience big drops which make me feel sick. Happy to admit i didn't believe the rally past 130 until it was a bit late but still made some on way up and not losing on way down. You believe your own bullishness but for balance GKP and Genl not been near previous highs, lots of oil companies still falling. PMO had done well but its not really a takeover target as whole proposition is that they produce e.g. north sea assests the majors don't want. Will buy when its cheaper sometime this week. | ggm5d
08/10/2018 10:06 | I don't think anyone is 'ramping' without acknowledging the caveat regarding oil prices remaining higher. In fact the prevailing hope seems to be that oil prices doesn't spike too high! The consensus is that an average of $70 Brent provides free cash flow enough. | lageraemia
08/10/2018 09:35 | adg, Spot on. | legg96
08/10/2018 09:06 | No, people on here are looking at the bigger picture longer term - I dont have the time or timing to trade for a few hundred £££ This is an unfolding revaluation with plenty of opportunity to probably multi-bag from her over a few years, assuming oil price maintains around $70 | adg
08/10/2018 08:54 | So today as a complete reversal of normal trading patterns, oil is down the market is are down and PMO is up at the moment | fitton
08/10/2018 07:52 | Not deramping, just suggestig you preserve your capital when you can. Too many rampers here not enough balance. | ggm5d
08/10/2018 02:04 | chopy, takeover? I hope not. Much more value to be had by remaining independent, although perhaps not in the short term. Meanwhile oil is again lower in early Asian trade.. although you can find an almost equal number of bullish or bearish news reports.. what to believe? | steve73
07/10/2018 19:20 | Hopefully-too high not good for PMO, or anyone. Interesting to see if today's bizarre incident in Istanbul-so much for consulates being safe havens-could affect Middle East relations with the West and the implications for poo if SA is isolated. | cumnor
07/10/2018 18:57 | Oil to continue its pull back towards 80: | ggm5d |
