If you are thinking of moving, I'd very much like to know what you think is better value. You are currently set up to get 30p in dividends and 153p in capital to the end of 2015 for an outlay of 131.25p. That's a compounded return of around 12% per annum if NAV doesn't grow. Where else will you get 12% compounded if stockmarkets remain flat?

Those are weighty accounts for my feeble brain at this time of the morning. I'd appreciate anyone's considered thoughts.
I'm up 30% over a short time, which is normally enough to make me dash for the exit in an Investment Trust but I do like some of those stock picks and NAV has moved on well since the accounts were drawn up.
Long term I'd like to stay here so para-crunching Buffet & that guy from Fidelity I think I think thats my best course

Indeed aleman

There is a bit of a planetary alignment at the mo'

* High gearing
* Rising stock markets
* Lots of foreign assets
* Weak pound

Taken together, means PEW is flying

It's remarkable that these have managed to close up 0.25p after going ex-dividend by 4.2p.

If today's price rise hasn't reminded you, it's ex-dividend tomorrow.

Looking at the current geographic distribution of assets:

The UK only accounts for 20% of the total. I suspect the main reason for the recent good performance in NAV (and shareprice) is due to the £ going down the toilet and long may that continue.
