09/10/2016 12:17 | TW has had so many chats with AR and he's been wrong throughout. I sure hope he breaks his duck and gets (this) one right! this is rather misleading/disingenu We actually chose to delay the court proceedings in light of developments - we did not have to.It was totally our decision/request! | twix386
09/10/2016 12:07 | TW should just stick to not mentioning anything to do with premaitha on share prophets, just like on Falanx, blue bird merchant ventures, fox marble and a number of others. Adam Reynolds changes his tune from month to month, a few weeks back he was worried about the litigation and now it seems he isn't. Bring on the AGM so the BOD get some feedback on their lack of shareholder management. | sh1984
09/10/2016 11:57 | ha ha ! calling it right and TW should not be in the same sentence imo! | hjb1
09/10/2016 11:31 | hjb agreed, it will go up but when it does it will not be because TW called it right. I really dont know why he bothers. | blackss
09/10/2016 11:19 | sounds pretty good to me..I'm trying to stay positive on this. | hjb1
09/10/2016 11:18 | TW = credibility nil Having called the wrong from day 1 i'm not surprised he is telling people to buy. shame he was doing the same at 25p and 15p. | blackss
09/10/2016 10:41 | TW weekend write up Premaitha (NIPT) announced late last week its results for the year to March 31 2016. Given the pace of events here these historic numbers do not mean that much but for the record: Sales were £2.5 million, up from £132,000, the underlying operating loss was £5.9 million, up from £4.3 million but there were a stack of one off and non cash items of £6.2 million. Notwithstanding all of that year end cash was £5.3 million and the company has just secured another £4 million loan facility from Thermo Fisher. The Illumina patent challenge is a pain and the case won't now be heard until 2017 thanks to the EU weighing in against Illumina. Premaitha has provided for costs of defending of £5.4 million. It is what Premaitha says about current trading that is most encouraging but first remember that most contracts it wins are multi year and thus with most contracts in the year being reported on being landed in the second half we already know that with a full 12 months in this year, there will be a big ramp up in sales. Since the year end there have been new lab contracts signed in Italy, France and first Asian lab secured in Thailand and there are now 9 labs operational (up from 4 at 31 March 2016), with further 4 scheduled by the end of 2016. And the service laboratory is now growing fast, now more than 25 UK and international clients. We have chatted to Adam Reynolds the Non-executive Chairman and are convinced of three things. 1. Premaitha really is confident that it will see off Illumina, if the EU does not get there first. 2. Premaitha is funded to meet the costs of fighting that case robustly. 3. We stand by a forecast of FY sales of c£8 million which would equate to a pre-tax loss of c£2.5 million. That is clearly easily affordable on current cash balances. By Q4 we expect the company to be essentially at cash breakeven with a rapid ramp up in profitability thanks to operational gearing thereafter. Sales next year should hit £15 million News of big contract wins will drive a re-rating. At 9.875p the market cap is now just £22 million. That is far too low and the shares remain a buy ahead of contract win news. | brainspark1
07/10/2016 06:52 | hxxp://www.huffingto Sources at Whitehall recently stated that the Government is poised to approve the provision of non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) for Down syndrome and other serious chromosomal disorders to all high risk women on the NHS. This has happened against a backdrop of extensive debate. Some campaigners fear that the implementation of NIPT on the NHS will lead to an increase of terminations of babies with Down syndrome. I would like to address those concerns, and offer up the perspective of a medical practitioner on the ongoing debate. | brainspark1
07/10/2016 06:31 | Anyway NIPT has its own traction now why would every leading bio be trying to get out its own version of the test. It's progress. Premaitha will carry on distributing and testing in house or via labs worldwide. Next stop cancer screening.. | timojelly
06/10/2016 13:57 | Nobby - yes, I'm all for more publicity and public debate. I imagine the government was keen to promote the public debate ahead of announcing availability on the NHS, rather than defending the position after it announced. I don't believe for a moment that they are looking for public permission to proceed... | philburt
06/10/2016 13:27 | No publicity is bad publicity... it just means more people will know about the test! | nobbygnome
06/10/2016 13:24 | Was being discussed on Jeremy Vine this lunchtime too. | philburt
06/10/2016 12:52 | A matter of time now before full NHS availability confirmed. Guess what that does to the shareprice.... | timojelly
