Anyone got an idea about what the 9 million apparent sells is about - it has caused the offer to go up by 1p ?

Whatever these trades are, it seems as though an overhang has been cleared and the price is going up

All the buys over the last 2days doesn't get the price up and then a 7k share sell, and the bid goes down - amazing !!

Some buys going thru today - must be the IC tip that did this since it has been doing nothing since the results!!

I wonder why the offer has not gone up since there has been over 130K worh of buys ?

I have noticed that this company does not feed regular information to the mkt. It needs to do this to keep the buyers in. An announcement every 2 months will do nothing for a company that has excellent grwoth potential

but if we get RNS saying institions have either topped up or someone new has bought in it will go up again cannot undetastand why goals on much bigger p/e
and why the mm's playing games

With the prospect of the world cup getting people to go and play the game, this is going to rocket in the medium term. Excellent prospects and a good organic growth story. I suspect that the MMs have quickly lowered the price to get more sells so that the funds can keep buying at a fixed price

seems to be a bit one sided all buys yesterday not upward movement all seels today and it goes down MM's playing games this is a solid stock and should have much higher rating that this

Powerleague, the five a side football operator has announced its maiden results since listing and posted a 14% surge in sales and promised more to come. The business recorded profits of 2.6 million pounds on revenues of 17.5 million pounds for the year ending 2nd July. Operating profits more than doubled while cash generation jumped from 4.1 million pounds to 5.3 million pounds. The group runs 335 pitches and has the potential to add a 100 more sites. The business is looking to take advantage of the World Cup fever in 2007 and believes that this will boost participation though it is keen to pursue a sensible and measured approach towards expansion. Analysts at Evolution have rated the stock as buy and we have no reason to change our recommendation. At 66p, having suggested buying at 43p, we believe the shares have further to go.

MMs are taking the mick on this stock - a 2500 sell causes a drop in the offer price and a 400,000 buy does nothing for the bid or offer !!! Big boys still topping up at a fixed price before the next move up

good article if valued the same as goals ie pe of 80 of forward p/e of 40 it should be about 240p not much hope i think of that i;ll take 100p though

However, if due, a re-rating may take place over next few weeks rather than immediately.

results tommorrow hoping the share price will challeng the 70p level after the news could see some good buying early on need some regular momentum to get there
and needs to get the exposure goals has been getting can see 100p in medium term

Well the bid and offer finally went up - more buying until Wed when the results are due should see a further improvement

Can't believe that the MMs are not moving the price - if they want stock they should increase the bid. Its obvious they do not want to trade until the results when the price can be marked up at a bumper premium. I just bought a few more to add to my holdings

chapman, I'm following both GOAL and PWR but your comments leave me at a loss. GOAL were reporting INTERIM results which explains why less than PWR.
