28/9/2013 09:54 | Hey Norbus, You must be psychic! Goodbye Nomura Code, hello Oriel. ;-) Onwards & upwards | wetdream
23/9/2013 09:08 | They are indeed strong despite all sorts of plans that went adrift. They can quickly resume the abandoned projects once the base is profitable and the market is less battered with Chinese dumping. We are exposed so long as Nomura Code are not doing a proper job as trustees for the shareholders. I think those still in should put our case for practically zero liquidity to the company. | norbus
13/9/2013 19:28 | Looking again at the recently published interim results, I see that the cash position is still very strong but it is depressing to see that PFLM are having to abandon both Building Integrated Photovoltaic and Roll to Roll Flexible products. They have probably spent lots of money on both. It is, I suggest, worth having a look at the Bushnell Power Sync products advertised on the BPS web-site. These are, in effect, PFLM products in BPS wrappers. It is many years since I last went camping, let alone trekking in the outback, but for those that do these products enable you to recharge your mobile devices every day wherever you are. Apart from BPS, PFLM seems to rely almost entirely on the US military who can, at least, be counted on to pay their bills. | varies
09/9/2013 18:00 | Wet. What makes you so sure it was a buy as I have been quoted 5.5 at various times on Friday & today. Perhaps the 100k @ 4.75 was a fill or kill buy but not sure about the 12.44pm trade. | barrieb
09/9/2013 16:59 | Who on earth would buy 956k, even at 4p? Must be a total idiot. Company has no future as a public company/ | wetdream
22/8/2013 19:12 | Amazing to think that the Board's holding was once worth >£400m and now barely touches £1m. Is that a record? Must be for Nomura Code.... | wetdream
22/8/2013 18:20 | Repeat No punt with net cash at 6.5p and assets at 58p. Risk is taking it private, but they can't steal it. I think these people are honest. We need to shake Nomura Code to do their job. | norbus
22/8/2013 16:47 | Reads like a poker game where the trick is to stay in the game. Strategy looks ok, but PV market seems to have gone down the toilet - largely due to the Chinese. may make a return in 5-10 years. | wetdream
22/8/2013 15:27 | Dreadful results but the balance sheet is essentially unimpaired. One consolation for most of us is that we had already lost at least half our money before these results and, therefore, were left with only modest holdings ! We can only hope for better news from PFLM in 6 months time and be thankful for those of our investments that are doing better. If I could be sure that this company would still retain its quotation then, I would be tempted to follow ZZ Bottom and buy a few more. | varies
22/8/2013 15:27 | No punt with net cash at 6.5p and assets at 58p. Risk is taking it private, but they can't steal it. | norbus
22/8/2013 13:32 | I bought a small amount for a pure punt. | zz bottom
19/8/2013 13:27 | Good sign, Accounts first half out this week 22/8 ; last year 11/9 | norbus
19/8/2013 10:04 | A disastrous experience with Silanis, now unquoted, makes me nervous about PFLM. Both are essentially North American companies. It would, however, be very pleasant to see encouraging figures this week. | varies
13/8/2013 10:58 | They can't steel the company at this level; Class action against Nomura then. | norbus
12/8/2013 16:03 | I think most people just expect a delisting........... | chrisdgb
12/8/2013 15:21 | Half year results last year, 7th September. Strange imagining PI's written off their investment when company should have moved into profit | norbus
02/8/2013 16:12 | I'd imagine that most PI investors here have written off their investment some years ago. | wetdream
18/7/2013 08:25 | Are any of you bothered with false market? If it goes private and they work price by reference to average last xyz dayswe e out. Nomura Code is a disgrace to allow this false market to exist | norbus
15/7/2013 20:30 | I wonder if they had a real 'knees up' (or US equiv) at their 25th Anniversary? Presumably since Jeffrey & Grimmer have 60% of the shares, they're aware of the situation! BTW, what an unfortunate name for the investor relations VP.... ;-) | wetdream
09/7/2013 15:59 | Norbus, thank you. | somerset lad |
