It's because it is still a Reg S (US) stock which means it can't be settled electronically. I thought that the Reg S restriction could be removed after a certain period, but the company thought otherwise when I asked them. Perhaps worth asking the question of their new broker (Oriel).

The technology they were working with was hugely promising before China drowned it is probably the main reason. It is a very good company, good management, about to make delivery. dyor

Once in profit, NAV per share of > 50p and loads of cash come into play. I bought these at around 20p whenever I could get them, clearly expecting a decent return

buying times/amounts are similar to the buying pattern before the rns (just after opening of either lse or nyse) so id say that the co. buying more is odds on qwazi....that 30,000 sell was swallowed immediately (without a belch)...now if norbus' nose isnt being fooled..there is a long way up to go..but as he says...bout time

A buyback of shares. Surprised they didn't do it sooner with all the cash they've got. Wonder if they are planning on doing any more.

Pflm is just a punt.shares are difficult to trade.
Co. Is invisible in the uk, to investors and the financial community in general.
The company still has the appearance of a hobby for the principle owners.
A niche co. That's been overwhelmed by the wider solar market.
Shame.

2013 results will give us a clue as to any progress being made as I am not expecting an update before then unless they get a contract or sale worth announcing.

Results last year were released on 18th March so a couple of months to go so you never know! Anyway they should be considerably better than the first half.

Very fortunate as my av. @ 4.94p will hopefully prove to be a good move but it was a leap of faith in their technology, Bushnell partnership, US military contract & their cash / available funds position as well as their very cheap price rather than any big ideas for future massive growth. However I am very positive about mobile device charging in general.

So I think it will be a long game here although their new man may ignite a touch paper and spur the old boys into some positive proactive action!!

You never know!

For me the principal worry is that PFLM may decide as an economy to dispense with its quotation on AIM (as did Silanis, another North America based company).
The pretext might be, as with SNS, that there was very little trade in the shares and, when holders wanted to sell,the only buyers were associates of the directors based elsewhere.
For this reason the appointment of new brokers is promising even though they do not seem very committed yet.

May thanks for your email. I cannot confirm exact timing of a potential note but I can confirm that as part of the broking services that we provide to Powerfilm we will look to initiate coverage on the Company in due course and provide regular updates thereafter.

So nothing in the near future!!

However that does not mean a positive RNS will not be released in the near future!!

My note saw a twitch and thought they may be less dead than Nomura Code. Now I see
the shares sink lower. They have to be a buy if they are not going to end up a basket case.

Give the broker a call and I will follow up after ; I had been in touch with the company and am prepared for a pleasant surprise
