Shawzie: Maybe Tang is hoping that TMS will disappear after paying the damages awarded to Celamin; if they ever do pay! And still no indication that TMS will do as instructed by the court. As I have asked before: Who did the due diligence investigation before getting into bed with TMS? Or did Tang just invest on a whim? Since the share price is down 10% today, it seems a number of shareholders have decided to get out at any price. It would be nice to hear from Tang that he is concerned abour minority shareholders and not just his 1-million salary.

Have I lost the plot, or does TMS still hold 49% of Celamin after Polo regains their 51%?

Tax may be an issue for Polo and related parties. That is why the investments are held in offshore tax havens. Tang should communicate a plan to narrow the discount to NTAV. Tang also has the financial incentive.

Russ: Polo should sell its Hibiscus shares and distribute that cash to shareholders.

Polo Holding Co is BVI. Its investments are held in "subs" dotted around the world. Mainly in the Channel Islands. Not sure how easy it is to return cash to BVI to then distribute to shareholders.

Tang still does not provide any plans to narrow the discount to NTAV.

Totally true millerman. Unfortunately tang is not stupid and it will be impossible to do something due to the jurisdiction of the company and the fact that everything has been made to lock the shareholding positions. If people hope that few shareholders can jump on board of polo. its simply a dream. The only thing to do is praying that it is not just a pump and dump company....dedicated only to pay big salaries...!!

Tang bought his interest in Polo for Polo’s large stake in GCM. I suspect he is biding his time until GCM comes good which hopefully is imminent. I think Polo’s move to a proper valuation will occur when GCM takes off. If money is needed for GCM then Hibiscus which can easily be sold as its listed could provide a war chest. Interesting that the shareholder group has sprung up at such an interesting time for Polo and GCM.

Yes - tremendous latent value here which WILL be released in due course. Been in and out of these for over 10 years and, like GCM, a good trading stock. Bought at 3p this last time so not complaining but holding for at least 6p within a few weeks now that it's getting on a few folk's radar. 10p easily attained with patience.

As Hibiscus is being mentioned it’s perhaps worth reminding ourselves what it is worth. Hibiscus has seen it’s share price continue to rise such that its market value is now Malaysian Ringgit 1.444 Billion. This converts to £269 million which values Polo’s 8.75% at £23.53 million. Polo’s current Market Cap is £14.19 Million. This is a massive undervaluation of Polo based on just one of its investments.Let us hope that the group currently pressing Polo to take action in this area is successful. We all hope that good things are about to happen at GCM which should provide a further massive boost to Polo’s NAV. It is important that action is taken to reduce the very large discount to NAV that the shares currently trade at.

I haven't looked into the other holdings, but the Hibiscus shares are (according to their AR) held by Polo Investments Ltd, and that's a 100% subsidiary of Polo, i.e. controlled by Polo.

Polo does not control its investments. Held as minority in BVI. Or another offshore SPV.
