20/9/2018 16:48 | Lol, it's really not hard to work out from your post history. When you went from being mega bullish to being mega bearish was the subtle give away that you had sold :D | a1m1investor
20/9/2018 16:44 | Taking it private as in someone else buying them out to take it private. A take over. | a1m1investor
20/9/2018 16:00 | @a1m1invester, you're the idiot, you don't know whether I have the stock or not, or when I bought or sold....You really are making yourself look like the clown you are in your own delusional bubble. Why would they take it private? That involves spending their own money. At the moment the directors draw salaries of £150K each and give themselves free shares when it takes their fancy, despite their mantra of no dilution...you keep buying the dip dude, topping up! | pbanus
20/9/2018 11:29 | it certainly isn't expert, but it's my pleasure | bmcb5
20/9/2018 11:07 | Thanks for your expert advice and clarification BMCB5 | pbanus
20/9/2018 10:53 | Hi 1renard. Yes, so between now and then, all entries will be reviewed. Some will be approved, some rejected. I think after the decision, there is a period for appeal, before the final register is issued. Not totally sure of those timings, but it feels right. | bmcb5
20/9/2018 10:45 | I've just looked at the powerpoint presentation and looks like pre qualification decision is 26th October. | 1renard
20/9/2018 10:35 | Hi Savvy. It looks like the first issue of the register for last year's auction was on 1st December, so i would expect the same this year. Not sure of the planned timing for this years auction. Previously it was December, but last year was moved back to February. That may have been a one-off, to enable the 2017 early auction (which was in itself a one-off i think), or it may have been a permanent change. | bmcb5
20/9/2018 10:27 | bmcb5. Do you know when a list will appear of pre-qualified sites? | 1savvyinvestor
20/9/2018 09:46 | I highlighted earlier in the year, that the fact PPG had NOT entered the remaining diesel sites in the T-1 auction, showed they didn't think they would be constructed this year. Looks like i was spot on there. | bmcb5
20/9/2018 09:43 | Hi pb just to be clear on construction vs auction entry. Generally, what happens is a company will identify a potential project, acquire the land, develop plans, gain planning permission, grid connection, prepare finance. At that point, they will be able to pre-qualify for the auction. If they're successful in the auction, then they can activate finance, and begin construction. With it being a T-4 auction, they effectively have 4 years to get the plant built. If they choose to build it sooner, then they can enter the T-1 auctions for the years before the T-4 contract kicks in. So if they have projects pre-qualified for this year's T-4, and are subsequently successful in the auction, they would then have a contract which kicks in 2022. They could do a quick development in 2019, and enter into the T-1 auctions for 2020 and 2021. | bmcb5
20/9/2018 09:14 | Good stuff | montynj
20/9/2018 08:58 | VERY exciting to realise one tenth of what was planned! ARF ARF!! | pbanus
20/9/2018 07:52 | reckon there will be some sort of Rockpool update within weeks. | 1savvyinvestor
20/9/2018 07:45 | Very exciting if it comes off. How often do Rockpool update it's investors? | a1m1investor
19/9/2018 22:43 | where does 1savvyinvestor get this price sensitive information from, that other shareholders aren't privy to? Normally only DIRECTORS would know this type of info. If we remember back to the RNS of 31st Jan 2018 when the "pivotal" game-changing year was announced we've previously been told that gas sites would be built in 2018, and so would the three remaining Rockpool sites. Funds of £150M would be raised for ten new gas sites, a bond issue would yield £50M...Well the bond issue was pulled through a lack of interest...It now sounds like there's a scratching around for and attempts to cobble together funds to build just one gas site at circa £12.5M. Given these take around 6 months to construct this will miss the Feb 2019 capacity auction. The gas site deposit paid this year will be lost...So from the £150M pivotal year, shareholders are left hoping for (and not guaranteed) less than one tenth of the pivotal year! | pbanus
19/9/2018 18:00 | In answer to the Medway comment. It is my understanding that Rockpool in conjunction with Plutus are trying to merge the last three spvs to create a single company to build a 20mw site. They have identified a site with grid connection and planning consent. Nothing is of course confirmed and the success of this is not guaranteed. However it is a logical step given the sentiment against diesel and would be the model for other sites if approved. | 1savvyinvestor
19/9/2018 17:53 | Thanks. Good buying again today, strong price action. | a1m1investor
19/9/2018 14:48 | From what I recall, there were 4 potential PPG gas projects kicking around this time last year, during pre-qual: Medway (KI Power) Rejected at pre-qualification stage Letchworth A (LF Flexgen) was not entered into the auction Letchworth B (NRS Power) was not entered into the auction Witney (FC Powergen) Did enter the auction, but did not win a contract I would expect those 4 as absolute minimum in the upcoming pre-qual register. If they are pushing ahead with gas plans, then there should also be several more. | bmcb5
19/9/2018 14:42 | Medway Business Park, under the SPV of Ki Power Ltd, was put forward by PPG in last year's CM pre-qualification process. It is for a gas site of 20MW. Unfortunately, it was rejected at pre-qual, which could have been for real reasons (failed to meet various CM physical requirements) or admin reasons (failed to enter the required data in the application). I will keep an eye out for this, thanks | bmcb5
19/9/2018 13:57 | What is medway savvy? Nice to see some decent volume again today, definitely starting to come alive again here. | a1m1investor
19/9/2018 12:11 | spot on bmcb. We simply don't know when / whether the expected will happen. Will be interested to see what has been pre registered. Keep an eye open for medway as I saw that mentioned by Rockpool. | 1savvyinvestor
19/9/2018 10:36 | That does sound good, but... We've seen no evidence of progress regarding "a further three 20MW sites expected to come into operation in 2018." Last year they were happily tweeting about construction progress. This year, nothing. We've seen no progress regarding "moving into gas powered energy generation, energy storage and hybrid generation sites". Pre-qualification for the next CM auctions closed last week, so PPG are either in or out, with whatever projects they have. Once the register is issued, I'll provide a list of their proposed projects. | bmcb5
19/9/2018 10:24 | Plutus commissioned two new 20MW flexible energy generation sites in Stowmarket, Suffolk and energised two sites in Ipswich. The PPG now has 120MW of flexible energy generation sites in operation with a further three 20MW sites expected to come into operation in 2018. More generally, the company is currently focused on moving into gas powered energy generation, energy storage and hybrid generation sites. Gas powered sites offer significantly more attractive returns compared to diesel powered sites and hybrid sites allow power generation sites of various types to partner with storage technologies giving the company access to additional revenue streams. Sounds good to me | isa2020 |
