11/6/2017 09:38 | In addition to other stresses on supply for the National Grid, given the increasing reliance on Wind and Solar, will be the increasing demand for power charging of electric cars. By way of example, here is a bit of relevant news:- Karl-Thomas Neumann, the CEO of German car maker, Opel, said recently that the future of the automobile is electric power, and he even predicted that self-driving cars will become common sooner than expected. He said the car industry would change more in the next five years than it has in the last 50. Opel released earlier this year the Ampera-e and claims to be the first fully electric car to be able to travel over 300 miles on a single charge. | bishopawn

08/6/2017 14:33 | Welcome on board with your trade, bewarepaul....The only trade printed yesterday for 250000 was at 13.39:29 at a price of 1.44 pence; and not 250000 at 1.50 pence, as announced today, which indicates that it was dealt at a slightly later time in the afternoon. Two different trades I think, therefore. Yes, I agree with savvy that this increasing dependence on renewable sources of energy, wind and solar, puts the National Grid in a precarious position as to reliability of supply. There cannot be many days in the year when BOTH sun AND wind combine across the country, and certainly NOT in our deary winters...with shorter daylight with plenty of cloud. The coldest days in the winter are often in the presence of anticyclones which can settle over the British Isles for a number of days with virtually no wind and with clear skies at night sending temperatures plummeting well below freezing point It is in those scenarios that the National Grid will be desperate for back-up generation the likes of which Plutus specialises. | bishopawn
08/6/2017 13:40 | Today's news that renewables have powered over 50% of uk grid energy is perfect for Plutus . We sit in the renewables mix ready to switch on when wind or solar fall back. Turning on in only 30 seconds Plutus machines are part of the new green economy. They may be ( clean) bio diesel but their existence is really to o balance variable supply. The market has not yet fully understood this. News in mid May of a huge spike in generating costs play into the flexible generation ability of Plutus . We remain off the radar but I suspect not for long | 1savvyinvestor
08/6/2017 11:27 | wheres love it? | runwaypaul

06/6/2017 13:04 | Next 3 weeks should be interesting on a number of fronts. | bishopawn
06/6/2017 12:34 | Policy clarity should happen over the next few weeks once the election interruption has cleared. And that should spark up the share price again imo. | ibug
05/6/2017 12:32 | As further things unfold, it will become crystal clear. | bishopawn
05/6/2017 09:25 | Very well said bishopawn...The recent RNS couldn't have been clearer but too many investors don't seem to understand..if they did they would be buying. Well, it's their loss...they've already missed the initial up swing in the share price ..this share price should be back at the highs, pre ofgem, as the company couldn't have been clearer that multiple revenue exist | montynj |
