Well for crude rudeness and ignorance you have certainly brought a new dynamic to what is generally an excellent bulletin board

what the hell are you talking about? They have a strike rate of 6 out of 6 on capacity mechanism.

I've been researching again today and this bout of selling is completely illogical. In addition to the awards for capacity in 2020 which we all know about there is a less talked about auction for 2017 capacity at the beginning of January. It is extremely likely that Plutus will win some of these, very possibly 6 but almost certainly the 3 sites that were awarded contracts last year. This would mean three sites earning from November next year rather than waiting for 2019. This is happening because the national grid has not bought enough capacity for next winter!!

absolute nonsense Madmonkflin. They are provisional results and needed to be verified. How on earth is that bad communication? there has been excellent communication from the company all year.

should have released that news on Friday, and should have preempted which applications they had in, bad communication.

Very sluggish today. Must be the advent of the Christmas weighing on the market??

I agree they will regret selling. As well as the Christmas factor - of money needed for the Christmas Party - there could be the fact that today's news puts this particular revenue stream quite some way into the future, and being short-termers they have to jump ship and hop onto something else more speculative and more "exciting".

However, I think we have been given a small clue in today's RNS, viz. the bit about the Plutus offering now gaining traction. That suggests to me that we can now expect a quickening of the pace of developments with Plutus and an accelerated roll-out of the business model as well as other developments, any one of which will push the price much higher than where we are at the moment, which is factoring in very little by way of potential earnings and how that should be fairly reflected in the market value of the company.

Definitely a day to buy, rather than to sell, imo.

I'm not surprised. There are many people with the attention span of a gnat . They will regret selling

More positive news! Phil certainly has worded it nice. 'Gaining traction....' love this!
When do they plan to go to 80% equity on the sites? Is this what the 'big six' 20% deal is about, making up that difference? If so, future sites will be even more instrumental in the earning potential....;-)

ISA. My understanding is that all sites with planning permissions will be ready to connect around Nov 1 2017. Asset finance is ready to provide the engines but will not be triggered until needed saving unnecessary interest. Sites will be prepared through the coming months and we will be running fully for next winter

Interesting "Each operational site awarded a CM contract will receive an additional £450,000 in revenue per annum for a period of 15 years" as PPG own 45% that's a possible £202K per year per site, if my maths are right a possible revenue of £606k per year not including other revenue streams. How long does it take to get a site up and running?

Nice long term guaranteed source of income and should add further in the 2017 CM.

15 December 2015
"....is pleased to announce it has successfully received Capacity Mechanism ('CM') contracts for three 20MW sites in the UK. The clearing price of £18,000 per MW per year for 15 years is in excess of PPG's forecast. Therefore each operational 20MW site awarded a CM contract will receive £360,000 per annum for a period of 15 years from 2019."

"....is pleased to announce it has successfully received Capacity Mechanism ('CM') contracts for three 20MW sites in the UK. Each operational site awarded a CM contract will receive an additional £450,000 in revenue per annum for a period of 15 years, commencing 2020."

6 sites now in the capacity market alone for just one source of revenue generation.

3 until 2034 @ £360,000/yr each = £1.08m per year from 2019.
3 until 2035 @ £450,000/yr each = £1.35m per year from 2020.

Total from 1 source of revenue generation = £2.43m (6 sites or 120MW).

In answer to a question above about 'battery power' have a look at ITM power (ITM). Using electrolysed water to generate H2 for cars, inject back into grid as H2 or methane or store renewable generated power to convert back to electricity/ use in hydrogen cells.
